That had changed a lot, as the woman sitting on the 'throne' in front of him was now no more than what had once been called a 'skank'. She really shouldn't have been wearing that sort of outfit, what with the way that anger and age were stiffening her features, and making her look more burned out than anything else. Even her tight dresses, with the 'strategically placed' cuts simply made her look more like an aging courtesan that had lost her clientle rather than the leader of a sizable force.
Of course, her temper tantrums did not help.
"What do you mean to tell me that this was the case?!" she demanded.
He shrugged. "My queen, it is simply not feasible..."
"Who cares about that?"
"Well, I do, but..."
"But nothing! You only care about what I want you to care about. Understand?"
"Completely."
"Good," Beryl replied as she leaned back in her throne. "I lost too much time to Serentity's actiosn. She thwarted us, and sent our forces back in shame, and defeat. Word about her was even coming towards legendary status!"
"I see..."
"I hope that you do, because you have a mission."
"What is that?"
"Help me to succeed where we failed back then. But now we're ready, and Serenity died to protect them. So we'll be perfectly ready to be succeed now."
"As you wish," Jadeite replied, already thinking of the plans to bring his leader success.
"But at least we are lucky in one sense. Not a single person from her line should be left. And in that case, it should be easy pickings.
Some things in the town of Jester were quite common. There was always church on certain days, and feasting on particular occassions. People filled the streets so that they could buy and sell items to each and every one of their customers.
And one could always count on the fact that Usagi Tsukino would be racing down the street at exactly 8:24 AM.
"I'm late, I'm late, I'm LATE!" she yelped to herself. This girl, the one who couldn't even get out of bed on time, was unaware of what was coming her way. Instead, she had to act quickly and immediately to save herself from... the dreaded homeroom teacher.
She didn't know that there was an enemy that she was going to meet all too soon, while:
