Looking over where Garson was still trying to work on healing his injured hand, and the girl currently slumped in his arms, he had to admit that it had turned out to be a bad choice.
"This was perhaps not the wisest course, for that was a major show of force," Froderick muttered.
"You're tellin' me," Ranma replied, and turned to the third magic user. "How are ya doin'?"
Garson gave him a strained look. "I'll live. Other than that, you'll have to wait and see."
"I'm sorry..."
"I know you are. And I know that it's not her fault."
"Ya do?"
"Certainly. But I am also aware of the fact that simply bringing back her memories was not the best of ideas."
"It was yours..."
"Don't remind me," the injured man retorted.
Just then, the formerly thrashing girl began to stir, and the three males looked at her. Her eyes opened, and their calmed red depths looked up at the pigtailed boy. "Master?"
"Rei. Are you okay?" Ranma asked.
"I believe so. But I feel that I was distressed..."

"I know what you mean. But I doubt that they'll ask us to do that," Maya told her.
"Okay, I can see that. It's just that I thought that Master wouldn't go that far."
"Most likely, he's just trying to give us ourselves back..."
"Trust me. I don't want that life back, and I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't like to be me then."
The elder girl shrugged. "I'm sure that it's better than it sounds."
"What? The spell?"
"No. Your comment."
"Huh?" the redhead grunted in confusion. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means that you sound like you don't want to be you."
"I didn't... Okay, maybe it was phrased wrong. But you got the jist of it, right?"
"I do belive that I have."
"Good. Because I have one other question."
"What's that?"
"Why was it that you picked a closet for where we would hide?" Asuka asked with a bit of curiousity.
"That's something that I don't quite know..," Maya admitted.
Asuka simply sighed, while:
