The Amazon was actually having difficulty handling the dark samurai. He was still spouting his bad poetry, now about how Ranma and Akane were destined for each other, but he was backing up his own comments of strength.
"Aiya," Shampoo gasped as she tumbled back and caught her breath.
"It is no use," Kuno said. "You cannot pass the Blue Thunder."
"Shampoo is beating you eventually!!" Shampoo declared, charging forward.
Ukyou swallowed and decided she'd seen enough, turning away from the scene and right into Kodachi.
"Going somewhere?" Kodachi asked, patting her hair down with her hands. Ukyou could see that snakes hadn't replaced them now. Snakes merely encircled the woman's arms.
"Through yo..." Ukyou stopped as Kodachi's eyes locked with hers.
"I think you're coming with me," Kodachi said. "We must guard the Lord and Lady."
"Guard....Lord...and...Lady," Ukyou agreed, Kodachi's hypnotic eyes turning her resistance to much as the snake woman came closer.
Then kodachi was right in her face, and Ukyou felt the snake woman kiss her, fully and passionately. As the spatula slipped from Ukyou;s numb fingers, she felt something, a serpent travel down her throat.
And when Kodachi pulled away, Ukyou's okonomiyaki sellers outfit were replaced with geisha robes similar to Kodachi's own. And a second geisha snake-woman had been created.
"Come along and the let the warriors play, Ukyou-dear," Kodachi said, leading Ukyou away.
"Yes, my love," Ukyou said sibilantly, virtually clinging to Kodachi.
Behind her, Shampoo tripped to the ground and shut her eyes closed as a blade should have descended to destroy her. Instead, she awoke, finding herself clad in the same armor as Kuno, standing next to him with a strange feeling of adoration for the dark samurai and a feeling of duty to guard the castle against intruders.
"Now, Shampoo, my Lady," Kuno declared. "We shall both stand against these varlets that would invade the castle!"
"Aiyah!" Shampoo shouted without hesitation. "They no get by us!"

And so it went...in the vine cluster, Kodachi's gymnast's awoke to find themselves as talking rose petals along the way. Azusa Shiratori had gotten distracted talking to Kasumi for a little too long, and so the transformation had caught up with her, making her join the tea set. And now...on to the finalists....one of this set will eventually reach Ranma and rescue him, freeing all within from the curse...who will it be?!
