So he pulled himself along by pure grit and will power as he tried his best to get along the mountain paths. He was used to such travails, so he knew that he could handle it, but he did realise that this was definitely a long hike. Along rivers, up cliffs, and through forests he went, until he was approximately where he thought the old family home would be...
And that was when he came across what seemed to be the ultimate in luxurious living.
A massive house stood at the center of a manicured landscape that had everything from brick walkways to elaborate fountains. Everywhere he looked he could see some sort of sign of wealth, and at first he just boggled at the fact that he was in a place like that. But then he began to realise that he'd come there to find a place that his grandfather was staying. And then he wondered if he made a mistake and had taken a wrong turn somewhere. The latter seemed to be the case as a cry went up as he realised he'd been spotted.
However, instead of scowling security forces, what seemed to be a wave of ecstatic girls seemed to be charging right at him. Stunned by the sight, he froze for just a moment, but that was all they needed. Before he could move, they were literally all over him, with each of them seeming to have this need to yank him over to them. That made him wind up pressed up against so many attractive feminine forms that he didn't even have the chance to think to count. Each of them was beautiful in her own way, going from cute ones who wouldn't look out of place in a high school, to others who seemed to be giving off a definite sensual air. Some were in full demure outfits, and others were in short skirts and blouses that showed off their nubile bodies, but all of them were wearing maid outfits.
And had he been able to, he might have noted that there were those among them who had come from other series. Mihoshi had a number of series to pick from after all, and from her examination of those Earth books and shows, there were a number of them that had rich people with private servant 'armies'. When the wealthly individual was a teenaged boy heir, then the forces tended to be females in skimpy outfits, and that lead her to pay attention to the fact that there were plenty of series where one boy was surrounded by many girls, and there were boys who were in series with their own maids.
Such correlations were the reason that, while her ability to find connections was much admired, no one in their right mind in any field of study considered her to be someone they wanted cross referencing their data for them.
Not that Ranma was aware of it, as he was currently facing the fact that he had a lot of girls apparently really happy to see him, and the pigtailed boy had no idea that he was currently being 'greeted' by a group that included those who, in another life, would have been :
