The weakness in her limbs was nothing more than a fading memory. The aggravating cough and burning throat had largely subsided in her sleep. The feel of the blankets brushing over her fur was no longer a...
Hold a moment here.
"Fur?" Kodachi asked out loud as she creeked open an eye lid and sat up in bed.
Her head felt somewhat heavy as she glanced downward at her massively swelled chest, something that might soon be drawing lots of fanboyish attention, but, for the moment presented little but irritation for the budding gymnastic racketeer (read prodigy). A soft pelt of fur had grown over her in a pattern of mostly white with the occasional black spots.
The feeling of irritation swelled (almost as impressively as her chest had) as a long tail snaked out from beneath her seat and swished in annoyance.
Her eyes, twitching, Kodachi moved to rise out of bed and head for a mirror to see what horrors had been wrought on her perfect form. Her first attempt at pulling herself to a standing position on the new hooves was only saved from a painful fall when her horns caught on the roof of the four-poster bed she had recently acquired.
The Black Rose, once among the most agile, if not strongest, warriors of Nerima blinked in confusion as she fell back into bed and lay there, looking more or less stunned until she tried to stand again, this time a bit more cautiously.
A few staggering steps later and she was before the mirror to find what she had already deduced.
Her facial features, aside from thee great, bloody horns sticking out of her head, were largely untouched, but there was no doubt as to what she mostly reminded herself of.
"One of those...those...those..." she hesitated as the word she'd been about to use suddenly had a much more personal implication. "BITCHES made me a....a....a....gah!!!"
She twisted about from the mirror in a fit of feminine rage....and fell flat on her face, sticking the horns through her expensive flooring.
It would be several minutes before she pried herself free.
