By the time she'd awoken with the completed physical transformation - others had discovered their own transformation and were well on the road to dealing with it.
Kasumi Tendo, for example, was another cowgirl. She was now very busty indeed, had the odd ears and tail, and had discovered the need to milk herself regularly. Not that this last was an unpleasant activity, but it was inconvenient and messy at first.
As the horns were dead tissue without a sense of feel, much like nails or hair, it was possible to trim them back to nubs. An enterprising young man with a hacksaw had already set up a business of this sort - horn trimming. Daisuke had discovered a niche in life, and if he had to spend a lot of time around heavily endowed girls - there were worse occupations. He also learned a new appreciation for milk, but he was hardly alone in that regard.
Some cowgirls didn't mind the horns too much. Others disliked them intensely. There were a number who insisted that they were simply impractical and had problems with them hooking onto object or piercing waterbeds and the like.
Of course there were other "furry" types. Dog-girls or wolf-girls, various feline sorts, mousegirls, foxgirls, ponygirls, dolphin-girls or mermaids, and a menagerie of other types.
Which brings us to Kasumi's youngest sister, the first affected, the first to awaken transformed, and the first to lock herself away rather than let anyone see that she'd become:
