Plastic Man formed three signs with his hands. Each sign had a number seven on them. "Nice landing. I give it a total of twenty-one. You would have had more points but you need to work on timing."
Hourman asked, "Where is Green Lantern? Did he also make it?"
The humor quickly vanished as the implications set it.
Superman said, "He is not here. What happened?"
"I was bringing him back to this century from your future when something interfered with my journey. He must have gotten separated from me and wound up elsewhen."
The Flash said, "Great, just great. Kyle's time-lost again. Batman, any idea on how we can rescue Kyle?"
Batman frowned. "Not at the moment. I'll need to talk to Hourman alone for a while."
"I am at you service Batman," the android from the far future said.

Back with Kyle, Lina was trying to figure out the dimensionally displace Green Lantern.
"So Kyle," Lina began. "How did you become such a powerful wizard."
Kyle started laughing. "I'm not a wizard. I'm not Dr. Fate or Zatanna. I can understand why you thought that though."
Lina was stunned by that declaration. "But all the stuff you did. How?"
Staring down at his ring, Kyle rubbed the surface of it and replied, "I'm a Green Lantern. A sort of intergalactic law officer."
Gourry asked, "Intergalactic?"
Sighing, Kyle pointed straight up. "Up there, among the stars. Some of those stars have worlds orbiting around them. There are civilizations that ply the emptiness between the stars to survive. The Green Lantern Corps was an organization that promoted peace throughout the universe."
Lina said, "Interesting, but you still didn't explain how you did all that, if you are not a wizard."
Kyle pulled out the lantern fragment he had received from Superman Prime. The green stone transformed itself into a Power Battery. Ignoring the looks of startlement from Lina and Gourry, Kyle pressed his ring into the Lantern to recharge it.
"The ring I'm wearing and this lantern used to be issued to every member of the Green Lantern Corps to be used to do their duties. The lantern gathers energy and is used to charge the ring. The ring runs off of my imagination and willpower. It is not magic, it is super-science."
Lina looked at the ring with longing, while Gourry scratched his head.
Gourry asked, "Why do you refer to this Green Lantern Corps in the past tense?"
Kyle sighed and replied, "Let's keep walking. I'll tell you all about it."
He proceeded to tell exactly how he got the ring and went on to describe what happened to Hal Jordan AKA Parallax and the Green lantern Corps. Even though it caused him pain, he brought up Alex DeWitt and what had happened to her. The fact that the ring he was wearing only worked for him or a member of his family was also brought up. Lina was very disappointed at that point, although she hid it well. Both Gourry and Lina were stunned at what Parallax had attempted to do with regards to the timeline. Kyle went on to explain his time-lost journey, the entire nonsense with Dumas, Solaris the Super Sun and then how he ended up on this world.
Kyle held out both hands and replied, "I'm the last of the Green Lantern Corps and I have no idea where or when I am. The reason I'm telling you all this isn't for you benefit, it's for mine. I haven't had a chance to put my past month into perspective yet."
Lina gaped. "Past month?"
"From Grayven on was the past month. It was just non-stop action with little time for sleep. I need a vacation," Kyle replied.
Gourry asked, "What happened to that Major Force guy?"
Kyle replied, "I'm not a killer. I just walked away from him. A friend of mine, Guy Gardner, did kill him though. Guy had his own personal beef with Major Force. Killing Guy's brother, friend, and making an attempt on Guy's mom was not the smartest thing Major Force had done. Guy is not a nice person."
Gourry said, "And I thought I was an idiot."
Lina shook her head. "Well Kyle, that was quite a story. You mentioned a Dr. Fate and Zatanna. I'd like to find out more about them. I am a sorceress, and I am interested in magic."
Kyle replied, "I need to find a way home."
Lina quickly thought, "There might be a way, if we can find a copy of the Claire Bible."
"The what?" Kyle asked.
"It's a book of magic that has almost limitless knowledge. Maybe it has some information about your situation."
Kyle bit his lower lip and nodded. "A very slim chance, but at least there is one."
Gourry asked, "By the way, why did you change your clothes?"
Kyle laughed. "That was my Green Lantern uniform. I just felt it wasn't needed right now."
