It was not that he was angry still. He had passed that sometime while in his fever.
The thing was - he remembered everything while he'd been weakened and feverish. He remembered Akane trying to force feed him. He remembered Kodachi sneaking in and trying to force feed him. He remembered Shampoo sneaking in and trying to force feed him. He remembered waking to Nabiki going through his backpack looking for something to sell. He remembered Ukyo sneaking in and trying to force feed him.
He remembered especially Akane and Kodachi and Shampoo and Ukyo all coming in at the same time and getting into a massive property-destroying patient-trompled-underfoot hair-pulling face-slapping cheek-stretching free-for-all. No, he didn't think he'd forget THAT for awhile.
Then he'd felt the change, the light erupting from within him and leaving him healthy. Transformed but healthy. He no longer had the Jusenkyo curse.
He'd heard someone, one of Nabiki's friends, once refer to him as "Nibunoichi" (1/2) as something that was neither one thing nor another. He was still 1/2, but instead of turning into a girl with cold water, he was now:
