The wings that stretched from his back were new, as was the fanged look - bespeaking his increased need for protein. The "bracers" of hard scales extending from elbow to knuckles were new, as were the similar "leggings" hidden beneath his pants. His eyes had the same brilliant blue, but seemed to catch the light in an almost prismatic way now. His tongue wasn't forked, but was longer and less flattened. His ears were pointed and had a ridge of scales on the upper curve.
He leapt up, and let his new talents and appendages swing him up further. This was one of the things he most liked about this transformation. The most likable thing was that his Jusenkyo curse was gone.
He was stronger too. Stronger, tougher, faster. Because he was taller and seemed to weigh more, except when he was flying, he had to retrain himself. A martial artist had to know himself and his capabilities - and currently he was still working on exploring these limits.
Perhaps the greatest change wasn't the physical ones though. Like many of those altered, his mind had seemingly cleared of a lot of concerns and hormonally influenced confusion. There would be a period of sexual awareness, but while he could be affectionate and a devoted partner - right now he hadn't any clear cut desires in that regard. Those parts of his brain that would normally regulate such things were "powered down" at the moment. He wasn't completely calm though - there was still some confusion about his situation and resentment towards his old associates.
Eventually he would lock onto someone who would be the "special one for him" but due to being trampled during the melee while people were talking about him dying - he wasn't inclined to choose anyone from Nerima.
Senses were more acute. His sense of smell was greater, his eyesight - particularly at a distance, was able to pick up fine details easily.
With his wings pumping, he easily reached the next peak and landed lightly, frowning as he felt a twinge in the new muscles. No more flying for awhile, he needed to build those muscles up before he could do much more with them. A pity but that was the way things went.
He was Half Ice Dragon, so the cold didn't bother him in the least as he began to run.
He just wondered briefly how everyone back in Furinkan was doing before he turned his attention to the here and now.
Tatewaki Kuno had dramatically changed, and not just physically.
Part of the transformation had cured him of all sorts of health problems. Insanity was part of the package.
He was still fond of the whole samurai image, but he understood Akane didn't love him. He'd also figured out the 'osage no onna' while musing over his memories.
Which was why he was watching his collection of pigtailed girl memorabilia burn.
He wondered when he'd find the "special one just for him" but he wasn't in a hurry right now. No, he'd simply analyze his life and where he wanted to go from here. Then he'd figure out how to get there. Simple with the Calm of his new mental facilities. When time came for him to do more, he would do so.
Dark Elf Kuno saw no need to hurry.
