“According to the sensors, you have just entered the Nerima ward and are close to the location of the energy spikes,” came the Martian’s reply.
“Got it,” responds the Green Lantern even as he begins to scan the area for any traces of energy similar to his ring, used in the area recently.

“Hey Ranma, hold up,” says Nabiki, as she stops about a block from her home.
“Yeah Nabiki, what is it?” He too stops, and then turns to face Nabiki.
“Earlier you said you knew the current Green Lantern, right?” At Ranma’s nod she continues, “You think he might have found out about the ring already?”
“Um, maybe, but he is in the Justice League now. Why?” Ranma asks. Nabiki’s reply is to point in the sky at the Green Lantern slowly making his way in their direction while scanning the ground. “Oh,” thinking for a moment Ranma shouts, “Hey, John, down here!”

“What the!?” says John, “Who would know me way out here? Better check it out.”

“Since when do you know English so well, Ranma?” asks Nabiki.
“I travel all over learning martial arts, and you don’t expect me to learn at least one other language during all that time?” responds Ranma as Green Lantern lands near the two of them. “Long time no see, Stewart-sensei.”
“Ranma? Geez, you’ve grown since I last saw you. How has your training journey been going?” says John.
“It’s been over for while now but I’ve learned some techniques that you would’ve thought would take me until old age to master. Any way I’m guessing this is why you’re here,” says Ranma as he holds up the hand with the Black Lantern ring on it. “I’m told it’s an Oan made ring.”
“I don’t know about you two, but I think we should take this conversation somewhere else,” says Nabiki.
“Huh, oh yeah that’s a good idea. Oh, and before I forget, sensei, this is Nabiki. Nabiki this is the Green Lantern that taught me what I know about Oa.”
“It’s nice meet you, Nabiki. Any suggestions for where we should take this conversation?”
