"Madam? Your noon appointment has just arrived."
The woman stopped working on her computer and pressed a button to answer the intercom. "Please send him in, Mina." After turning the intercom off, she heard the door to her office open and smiled warmly. "Reverend Malchio, it's good to see you again." She got up and personally escorted the blind man to his seat in front of her desk. "How are the orphans doing?"
"Quite well considering the circumstances. I would like to get back to them as soon as possible so I would like to get straight to the point, Ms. Canaver."
The female Coordinator smiled as she took her seat. "Please call me Eileen, Reverend."
He gave a small smile of his own. "My apologies, Eileen. Getting to business, I've recently spoken to the Earth Alliance Secretary-General Olbani. He would like to begin negotiations for a new trade agreement between the PLANTs and the Earth. I felt that as a close ally of the late Chairman Clyne that you would be open-minded about these negotiations."
"I see. Considering that there is a temporary truce in effect, it would be a good opportunity to begin speaking with each other again. If things go well, this could lead to peace in the long-run." Eileen paused. "There will be a meeting of the PLANT Supreme Council later this afternoon. I'll bring this matter to the table and let you know about the decision as soon as possible."
"Thank you, Eileen. I appreciate that."

"Hey, Akira! Got a call for ya!!" Akira Yagami, pilot of the ZGMF - X15A Gargoyle Gundam, finished typing a last line of code for his mobile suit's operating system before hopping out of his unit and taking the cell phone from his comrade.
"I would like a status report, Mr. Yagami," said a gruff voice on the other end.
"Everything's proceeding as planned, sir. We're just about done programming the operating systems for the three units. Now all we need to do is give them a test run," replied the Japanese Coordinator.
"You may have your test run opportunity soon. My operatives have informed me of a new development that came up during a recent PLANT Supreme Council meeting. The Earth Alliance Secretary-General will be heading up to Aprilius City in about 17 days to negotiate a new trade agreement between the Naturals and the Coordinators. We don't know how large of an escort that it may have but with your three new units and a few support battleships, we should be able to wipe them out easily."
Akira smiled. "I'll be sure to spread the good news to my co-pilots, sir."
"We'll be sending over the Pegasus in a week to take you to space. Be ready by then."
"Read you loud and clear, sir." The conversation ended and Akira headed to where his two co-pilots worked on their units. "Good news, guys! In 17 days, we'll be able to test these babies out and kill a good number of Naturals in the process!!"
"Sounds awesome," boomed Hugo Namora, the bulky orange haired pilot of the ZGMF - X16A Juggernaut Gundam.
"Excellent. Just what I need to test out the Variable-Beam-Attack-Weapon," said Leo Candide, pilot of the ZGMF - X17A Eden Gundam.
"How about a little wager? Whoever gets the least amount of Natural kills at that time has to buy drinks for the rest of the team?" asked Akira with a grin.
"You sure your wallet can handle it?" asked Hugo.
The trio shook hands to seal the wager. "In any case, you have yourself a bet, Yagami!" replied Leo with a smirk.

"I see that you've done quite well in the zero gravity Mobile Suit Combat simulations, Cadet Hawke," murmured McFarlane as he looked over a report.
"Thank you, sir!"
McFarlane looked through a schedule. "I think you're ready to go to the next stage and do a mock battle in space. I've got an opening for a test in 17 days. You interested?"
The young female nodded eagerly. "Absolutely, sir!!"
"In that case, better get some practice in. Your combat partner is going to be a handful."
Luna frowned. "Who would I be facing, sir?"
"According to this, you'll be up against Cadet Shinn Asuka."
