Using his thrusters to fly toward the Strike Daggers, Leo brought the arms up, beam energy escaping out the several ports on the gauntlets as the arms became engulfed in energy; taking the form of two long arm-blades, the Eden rockets into the first two Daggers and swinging its arms chops them cleanly in two. Still not satisfied with just two deaths, Leo has the Leo swing to the left, impaling a Dagger, while the right arm’s beam energy reforms into an axe and cleaves a Dagger straight down the middle.
“Hey save some for me!” Hugo Namora, the pilot of the ZGMF – X16A Juggernaut exclaimed as he brought his two double-barreled hyper beam rifles to bear; depressing the trigger and watching the four beam-arcs cleave through several Daggers before hitting an escort ship and causing it to explode in a ball of fire. “Oooh yeaaaah me loves the heavy artillery!” Hugo laughs; his radar beeping as a squad of of Moebius’s come at him, weapons blazing. He snorts as their weapons bounce harmlessly off the Juggernaut’s hide. “Like that’ll do you any good with the amount of PS-Armor on this puppy.”
The large bulky, weapons-laden MS turned to face the squad of Moebius’s, aiming its two shoulder mounted Schlag cannons, and lets loose, the volley destroying the Moebius’s with ungodly ease. His radar picking up a few more Daggers coming at him; Hugo flips a switch and the top part of the backpack opens revealing duel micro-missile launchers which fire off the first volley that seeks out and decimates the Strike Daggers into space debris.
“These suits are marvelous, not only are they nuclear powered, but the weapons are bitchin!” Leo chuckles gleefully to him. An image on his view-screen is high-lighted and enhanced; the Secretary General’s shuttle. “You’re next Mr. Secretary General of the bastard Alliance!” He puts the Eden into full throttle flying towards the shuttle, bringing the VBAW in the right arm online and forming it into a long blade.
Time slowed down as the mobile suit approached the shuttle. Kira, Dearka, Yzak, Athrun and the M1 pilots all watched in horror as it seemed like the battle was going to end in tragedy. Those aboard the shuttle expected the end as well.
However just when the Eden was within twenty feet, a blur raced toward it, smashing into the Eden from the right side, knocking it off course and flying into space.
“Gah dammit!! Who the hell got in my way?!” Leon slowed himself down and adjusted himself to gaze at the prick who just signed his death wish. What he saw as a mobile suit he didn’t expect. “What the hell? The P03 Blue Frame?!” He exclaimed. “What’s a Serpent Tail mercenary doing out here?” He then snorts dismissively. “No matter I won’t be bested by the like of Gai Murakumo!”
Inside the Blue Frame, Kou watched as the Eden prepared to attack him. “Close-quarters combat type excels in the use of beam weapons…has to be Leo.” He murmurs as he plans his attack. The backpack unit of Blue Frame detaches and reconfigures into a huge sword, which Blue Frame grabs and swings overheard to parry the Eden’s rapid-strikes with its VBAW-covered arms, which were in the shape of very sharp dagger wrist-blades.
Judging the seconds between each thrust, Kou reached back with the Blue Frame’s left arm and drew on of its beam sabers and brought it forward in a defensive posture to hold the blades at bay.
”Oh puleeze, how’s a dinky beam saber doing to protect you from my WB-“
Leo’s sentenced was cut off as the Blue Frame pushed the Eden back, raising a leg to kick the machine in the crotch plate, knocking it off its equilibrium just long enough for the right arm to swing the large sword so the connecting blow sliced off the Eden’s arms right above the elbow and thus cutting off its WBAW units. Before the Leo could even react to losing his arms, the Eden’s head got a beam saber through the noggin’ cutting off his camera-feed.
”Aw shit!” Leo did the only thing he could and kicked in the thrusters to back away from Blue Frame. He then felt the Eden shake and tremble and cried out in terror as the cockpit hatch and his monitor disintegrated as the Blue Frame’s broad sword nearly cleaved the Eden in two. “HOLY SHIT!”
”LEO! Get the hell outta there! You’re suits too damaged to take him on!” Hugo called over the radio as he engaged his thrusters to race toward the Eden’s aide.
“Shit, don’t have to tell me twice!” Leo yelled as he engaged his thrusters and boosted toward the Pegasus.
The defeat of the Eden did not go unnoticed; especially by Akira in the Gargoyle. “Those superb executions of the attacks; disabling moves done with as few moves as possible to conserve fuel, and that fighting style…it has to be him!” Akira flipped open his communications with the Juggernaut. “Hugo that’s not Gai Murakumo in that suit, it’s gotta be that pest Kou!”
“What?! How do you figger’ that?”
“Those moves and the way they were executed, it has his MO written all over, so don’t get cocky like Leo did!”
”Roger that.” Hugo replied as he cut off the communications with the Gargoyle and accelerated toward the Blue Frame; bringing both hyper-beam rifle up to line a shot. “Eat this you bastard!” He fired a volley that the Blue Frame dodged. Blue Frame let go of the large sword which transformed back into the backpack unit and reattached itself to the mobile suit’s back; increasing its maneuverability.
Deciding to up the ante, the Juggernaut started firing both its rifles and its Schlag cannons at the Blue Frame, the hail of heavy artillery creating quite the light show. However Hugo was getting frustrated at how easily Blue Frame dodged his shots. While not as knowledgeable on the Astray Proto-series as his two comrades, he did know they were built for high maneuverability since they were not equipped with PS-Armor. “Maybe I should throw in some missiles to make it harder to dodge.”
Just the Blue Frame grabbed the two Armor Schneider combat knives fixed to its hips and tossed them at the Juggernaut; however one seemed to miss while the other was destroyed by a shot from the Schlag cannons. “Pathetic, you reduced to throwing knives now pal?” He aimed his right rifle and pulled the trigger, and instead of firing, the gun began to spark. He then saw one of the Schneider’s was imbedded in the side of the gun. “Oh hell!” He threw the rifle away just as it exploded; which allowed the Blue Frame to fly by and slice off the left Schlag cannon with its beam saber.
”Oh you son of a bitch you are DEAD!” Hugo yelled, enraged greatly. He fired his remaining Schlag, hyper beam rifle and let loose with his back-mounted micro missile launchers.
Blue Frame dodged the beam attacks, but the missiles were too many to simply outmaneuver. Detaching the back-unit, Kou had Blue Frame grab it and hold it forward; the fixed gattling gun letting loose a hail of bullets that intercepted most of the missiles while a few that were spread too far out flew harmlessly by Blue Frame.
However one of the stray missile was going to hit something…
