"This is getting ridiculous...if we keep this up, the Secretary-General is going to get away!!" Blake contacted the commanding officer of his GINN squadron that currently fought against the M1 Astrays. Despite being highly outnumbered, the mobile suits from Orb are putting up a hell of a fight. "Sir, request permission to go after the target!!"
There was a pause before he received a response. "Alright but take Lori with you. And make it fast!! We don't want any more enemy mobile suits showing up!!"
"Acknowledged! Let's go!!" Two of the eleven black GINNs fighting the Astrays took off and headed right for the shuttle.

"Holy shit..." were the only two words to come out of Cadet Shinn Asuka's mouth as he observed the battlefield in front of him. All sorts of mobile suits and battleships were involved in the fight. "Did they already blow up the Secretary-General's shuttle?" He started checking around his surroundings and to his surprise, found a hauntingly familiar mobile suit. It was the same mobile suit that he had seen back when he was at Orb, the day that his family died. His eyes filled with a deep fury and he immediately searched for a weapon. Finding a leftover GINN machine gun that had miraculously stayed in one piece, he attached it to his unit and prepared to fire upon the Freedom.
He then paused. What's the point of attacking the Freedom now? His machine gun probably won't make a dent in the Freedom's Phase Shift armour. And there's no way his GINN trainer suit could withstand all of the Freedom's firepower. Finally, he had to find out if the Secretary-General is still alive. No...this is not the time to pick a fight with the Freedom Gundam. There is a time and a place for everything. His duel for vengeance against the Freedom will have to wait until he improved his skills and piloted a far superior mobile suit. It pained him not to go charging in but he knew he made the right choice. "Another time..." He tried to focus his thoughts on something else and scanned the area. 'Bastard mobile suit, bunch of black CGUEs, shuttle with Earth Alliances logo...good! He's still alive...' He trailed off when he noticed two black GINNs starting to head towards the shuttle. 'Oh no you don't!!' He pushed his suit as fast as it could go towards the shuttle.
At that moment, the Juggernaut's missiles exploded from the suit's back-mounted micro missile launchers. While the Blue Frame suit used a fixed gatling gun to intercept most of the missiles, one of the missiles spiraled out of control towards the two black GINNs. Blake tried to dodge in time but the missile hit him right in the suit's torso, causing it to explode and scatter its sword and machine gun. "Blake!!" Lori forced herself to focus on the mission. There would be time to grieve for fallen comrades later. She growled before she aimed her machine gun at the shuttle but her suit shook as machine gun fire threw it off balance. When she noticed that she had been attacked by a GINN trainer suit with a machine gun, she went ballistic and drew her sword. "You little asshole!!!"
"Shit!!" Shinn Asuka forced himself to dodge the GINN's wild swing. He quickly made his way over to the other sword, firing his gun to cover himself. When he got close enough, he armed himself with it before deflecting the next attack in the nick of time.

"Shinn!! This is Luna, do you read me?!? Where the hell are you?!?" Lunamaria did not want to spend any time in the battlefield, considering that it's an old obsolete mobile suit used for training cadets. Before she could curse more about her misfortune, her radar warned her of an incoming missile. Ten metres...five metres...her heartbeat raced faster as she screamed in fear for her imminent death.
Then a green energy blast intercepted the missile, causing it to explode near her suit. There was some damage but she's still in one piece. She turned to see her saviour who had arrived to the battlefield a bit late. "This is the Strike Rouge calling the pilot of the GINN trainer. Are you alright?"
Her heartbeat raced faster but now it was of a different variety. That voice sounded rich in sincerity, deeply mature and oh, so gorgeous! Luna tried to compose herself as she responded. "I'm fine...thank you for saving me."
"What are you doing out here in a ZAFT GINN trainer suit? It's too dangerous here!"
"I was trying to bring back a troublesome cadet who came here in the first place! I haven't been able to contact him!" replied Luna.
The other voice sighed in irritation before replying. "Stay out of the battlefield. I'll go get your friend for you. He's in another GINN trainer suit, right?"
"That's right."
"Okay. I'll be right back." The Strike Rouge then turned around and entered the battlefield.
