"Gotta move this fight away from the shuttle!!" Shinn deflected another swing of the sword and dodged the machine gun fire from the black GINN. 'Okay...from the erratic movements, the pilot seems to be pretty mad or something like that.' Factoring in this new information, Shinn formulated a plan to win the battle.
He quickly threw his sword at the GINN to act as a javelin. When the GINN soared up to avoid it, Shinn quickly moved in to ram the cockpit with his machine's head. 'Now that it's disoriented, I can finish it off!!' He fired his machine gun only to find it out of ammo. 'Shit!!!'
"Time to die, you gnat!!" Before Lori could attack, Athrun came up from behind and fired a few shots of his beam rifle to destroy the GINN. Shinn gave a sigh of relief and then heard an incoming transmission from the suit that saved his life.
"Strike Rouge to GINN trainer pilot. I'm going to bring you back to your friend. And don't try anything funny!" Shinn gave a small frown. He didn't like the way the guy had sounded. Before he leaves, there's one thing he had to check up on.
"What about the Secretary General's shuttle?"
"It's getting closer to the Aprilius City PLANT spaceport where it'll be safe. Don't worry about it. Let's go." Shinn simply shut off the radio. There's something about the guy that he didn't like.
The duo made their way through the battlefield without too much trouble. When they reached Luna, she opened a channel to the Strike Rouge. "Thank you very much for helping us out!"
"You can repay the favour by moving to a safer distance, alright?" Athrun was about to leave when he heard the female shout one last thing.
"Wait!! What's your name and can I call you 'sempai'?" asked Luna desperately.
"Er...no time now! I gotta go back and help some friends!!" Athrun quickly cut off the transmission and headed to where Yzak and Dearka were having trouble with six CGUEs.
"I've had enough excitement for today. Let's go, Luna," muttered Shinn. Luna didn't reply as she was off in her own little world.
'I have to meet my sempai again!! I have to properly thank him for saving my life and helping me out! Maybe Destiny will throw me something in the future! I wonder if he's single? No matter...regardless of whether he is single or not, woe be to the obstacles that stand between Lunamaria Hawke and her man!!'

On board the Eternal, Cagalli let out a mighty sneeze. "ACHOO!!!"
"Bless you," remarked Lacus.
"How much longer until we can help out the others?" asked Andy.
"We'll be in weapons range within five minutes," replied DaCosta.
