“Looks like we arrived at just the right time, Ranko,” Ranma said after sealing up the window. “From what I could feel, the energy residue in that cave feels about an hour old.”
“Guess it’s now time to implement our plan, eh?” the woman revealed to be Ranko said. With that, the two flew into action, striking pressure points throughout each other’s bodies. After a few moments, they stopped and nodded to each other. Putting their hands together as though they were pushing palms, they started to glow an unearthly light. Soon, that light became so bright that it obscured them from view. When the light finally died down, there was only Ranma himself, only now he seems exactly the way he was before he disappeared. Striking a final few pressure points, he fell over unconscious, and immediately reverted back into female form.
A few hours later, she would wake up and proceed to consume the Dragon Hair Porridge, and then head off to Tokyo to become involved in a series of unusual events.

Ranma Saotome was worried. The battle was fairing poorly for him, and if he didn’t finish this soon, then people he cared about would die. Reaching deep within his reserves, he sought for that extra bit of ability, energy, and will in order to overcome this latest challenge. Hovering before was Saffron, the Immortal Phoenix. Waves and waves of flames flew towards him, threatening to burn him to ashes if it weren’t for the Gekkaja and his Soul of Ice training. Just then, Saffron threw the largest fireball yet, threatening to consume him and those behind him.
‘I need to finish this now! Akane is counting on me! Everyone is counting on me!’ Pushing against his inner limit, he drew in the frigid air around him into a pattern, and in a moment where he all of a sudden found a new well of energy within him, condensed it to the point where ice started to form around him. Just before the fireball struck, he thrust his fist forward with a twist with the attack call of “Ice Dragon Ascension Wave!” A cyclone of titanic proportions sprang into being, dissipating the fireball and rushed towards Saffron, tearing him into tiny pieces as he was flung around the air by the icy winds.
Rushing towards the Dragon Fountain, he immersed the doll of Akane into the water, and sighed in relief as she was restored, only to start panicking again as she failed to wake up. Holding her close, he reached out with his life force, calling her back from the great beyond.
‘I can’t fail! She must come back!’ “Akane!”
Slowly, as though from a dream, Akane Tendo opened her eyes. Finally relaxing, he thought he heard a laughing female voice say, “The seal has been breached.”
