“What sort of situation are you talking about Arnold?” Murrue asked as she stood up from her seat.
”We’re doomed!! Mutant Coordinators are going to assimilate us into their collective and turn us into freaky cyborg slaves!” A frantic crew member ran down the hall behind Arnold.
”That situation ma’am…” The helmsman sighed.
Kou face faulted onto the table, and then lifted his head up. “What the hell?”
”Sounds like eavesdroppers and the rumor mills have started.” Andy chuckled.
Murrue let out an exasperated sigh. “I’d better go clarify things before we have a riot on our hands.” She followed Arnold out of the room and toward the bridge.
”I better head back to the Eternal and inform the crew what we’re up against. See you later.” Andy waved and left the conference room, leaving Kisaka, Erica and Kou alone.
The Orb officer coughed to get the young Coordinator’s attention. “Mrs. Simmons brought to my attention you’re interested in helping to stop Obsidian Abyss, am I correct?”
”Yeah I’d like nothing more than to blow those genocidal bastards into a black hole if I could.” Kou answered with conviction in his voice.
Kisaka looked a bit uneasy, looking to Erica who nodded, before turning to face Kou again. “As it is the Kusanagi only has three mobile suit pilots left, four if you count Cagalli. If you’re interested we could use someone of your talents aboard the ship.”
Kou’s answer was almost instantaneous. “Kisaka, Chief Simmons, you got yourselves a pilot/mechanic.” He grinned.
“Glad to hear, as it is we’re going to be getting a new mobile suit through a friend of mine. She and her team just acquired it and I think after your battle in the Blue Frame…you just maybe the pilot to bring the suit’s full potential out.”
Kou could not but notice the underline tones that hinted Erica Simmons had been planning his joining, and the MS acquisition was a part of it. “Oh really what suit would that be?”
“You’ll just have to wait and see.” She grinned.

“How much longer till we reach the PLANT Liam?”
A long-haired pretty-boy Coordinator turned from his seat to face the spectacled woman in a lab coat. “ETA is twenty minutes professor. I already have our docking clearance from the spaceport control tower.”
“Good, has Lowe finished the repairs to Red Frame and our new Friend?” The Professor asked with a smirk.
”Indeed he and Kisato both finished the maintenance and repairs. Also Lowe said he removed the spiked heels off of our Friend as you call our latest find.” Liam stated.
“Considering the person whom Erica said this mobile suit will be given too is male I think the high-heeled look would not sit will with him.” The Professor chuckled.
”Too bad, Lowe was looking forward to keeping Gold Frame.” Liam chuckled.
”He has Red Frame so he can’t really hog both suits. As it is Gold Frame is too modified for a Natural even with Eight’s help Lowe would have a helluva time using Gold Frame as it is. Besides from what Erica said Lowe will approve of who we’re giving it too.”
”And who is the lucky pilot?”
”Some Coordinator named Kou, the only info beyond his name that she gave me was that “He’s someone who will bring out Gold Frame’s true potential and use it for a noble cause”. I think knowing it won’t be in a psychopaths hands will pacify Lowe having to part with it.”
Liam couldn’t help but smile. “If those reasons are true, then I think the rest of us can feel at ease with who will be entrusted with Gold Frame.”
The Professor nodded. “Alright, now tell our Captain to wake up and let’s dock the ship so we can get things going.”
”Aye, aye ma’am.”

“So why are we all here Kira?”
Kira turned to look at Cagalli. Not too long ago Murrue called for everyone from all three ships to depart and meet in a briefing room inside the docks that was set aside for their uses. As it was the crews of all three ships were present. “Apparently it’s a briefing to inform us about what we know about the guys who attacked the Secretary General…and to lay aside the rumors everyone started.”
“I can’t believe you thought our enemies are a mind-wiping secret organization Dearka.” Yzak snorted.
”Hey I heard it from someone else first!”
“Shh! They’re about to start the briefing!”
