"A toast, fellas. To a job well done," said Hugo. Leo and Akira raised their own mugs of beer and all three mugs clinked together. The trio of Obsidian Abyss agents were currently enjoying themselves in a bar located in Maius Two. They had earlier met up with the rendezvous team and dropped off the package. With spirits feeling high, the trio quickly checked their mobile suit records to find out who lost the wager and went to a bar operated by an Abyss member to relax. Currently, the bar was empty except for the trio and the bartender, Kev.
"Here here!" Leo took a huge gulp of his beer, finishing the glass. "Man, this feels great! And let's not forget the fact that Akira's paying for our tab!!"
"It was only because I went after the Freedom in that battle! Otherwise, it would have been an entirely different story!" Akira drained his own glass before he got up and approached a pool table. "Who's up for a good game of pool? We still got some time before we have to report back to the Pegasus and wait for our next job."
"Prepare to go down! I'm a whiz at three dimensional geometry so once it's my turn, the game's over!" Leo picked up his own pool cue while Hugo poured himself another glass of beer. Before he could drink it, he noticed the television showing a small news bulletin taking place after a program went on to a commercial break.
"Hey, Kev! Turn up the TV, would ya?" asked Hugo. The bartender turned up the volume and soon the trio could hear the voice of Joan Campbell speaking.
"Coming up after Kitchen Gladiators, we'll have the story of an attempt to assassinate Earth Forces Secretary-General Olbani and the young ZAFT cadet who saved his life. Also, the debut of a new form of AI at September Three. All this and more on the Noon Edition of PLANT Headlines."
"You win some and you lose some. That's life," muttered Kev as he wiped a glass.
"True. By the way, how much of a discount do we get as Obsidian Abyss members?" asked Akira.
"Ten percent discount. By the way, here's how much you had so far." Kev produced a bill and Akira gave a large groan. His wallet would surely be feeling that for a while.
"Look on the bright side. A ten percent discount is better than none," chuckled Leo.

"Wow!! Rey really stopped an assassination attempt?" asked Luna as she walked to class beside her roommate, Megan.
"Yeah! That's why he'll be coming back tomorrow instead of today!"
"That means he won't be in any shape to do a space mock battle for a bit. Damn! I wanted to try and face him again," muttered Hawke.
Before Megan could reply, the pair passed by Shinn Asuka who had been assigned the task of finding and pulling weeds out manually from the Academy main grounds. He also continued cursing under his breath for being assigned this task. "Geez...Rey saves the guy's life and he's a hero. I save the guy's life too and what do I get? Bloody hell..."
"Hey, Shinn. You missed a spot," called out Luna before giggling.
"Hardy har har." Shinn continued to grumble as he pulled out another weed.
