That wasn't quite how Soun & Genma had survived, but it was fairly close. Being at the explosion itself had hurled them entirely out of Nerima. Their time under Happosai had left them tough enough to withstand most of what had occurred.
Fortune seemed to favor fools at times. Drunk people tended to survive car crashes that claimed the lives of those they had crashed into. So it was that two fathers began picking themselves up nearly forty-five minutes after the explosion.
Genma came to in an alley, burns covering most of his body - with the feeling that he'd broken several ribs and that the arm that had held the stopper now had over two dozen breaks in the bones from fingers to shoulder.
He was bruised, contused, and had a flagpole he had to remove from his butt - but he was alive.
Soun Tendo was actually in worse shape, his hair having been combusted during the release. He'd landed not far from a hospital, which was where he was and had turned out to be his sole chance of survival. If the medication level keeping the pain at bay had been any less, he would not have defined life under the Master as being hell any longer.
Neither Soun nor Genma was in any shape to demand anything of the force that Genma had released. Which was all for the better actually.
Typhon continued to gain power as it flexed its wings. There was a threat in this direction, though the opponent was not Zeus.
One of the other titans perhaps? It was of no matter. Nothing could contain it again. Short of Zeus aided by his petty group, it couldn't see that happening at all.
"How the heck do we stop THAT?!"
It seemed a very good question, considering that the news channels were now drawing a line that indicated the nasty "storm" was coming their way.
