'Just what is going on here?!?' To say that Commander Michelle Wayne was startled would be an understatement. Her GuAIZ radar indicated that the Eternal and the stolen ZGMF - X10A Freedom were engaged in combat against a mysterious group who were using ZAFT ships and mobile suits as the core of their army.
"Commander! The Nazca-class ship is sending us a text message!" reported Rachel. "They're basically warning us not to get involved in this fight and that it's none of our business!"
"Excuse me?!? Not only am I seeing three mystery suits with a ZAFT registry but the entire force that's attacking the Eternal seems to be using ZAFT manufactured equipment! And let's not forget about the recent news when the PLANT Supreme Council made the official statement that the Eternal and the Freedom are not our enemies! I say that this is enough of a reason to make this our business! All units, defend the Eternal!" Commander Wayne flew her GuAIZ suit into the battle, weaving in and out of the shots being exchanged by the three ships.
"You heard the boss lady!" shouted Duncan before the remaining members of the squadron flew into battle. Michelle targeted one of the black GINNs with her targeting system before firing her MA-M21G beam rifle, blowing a hole through its cockpit and destroying the unit.
On the bridge of the Pegasus, Captain Richards issued new orders. 'Our GINNs and CGUEs won't be able to do very well against the GuAIZ units...' "Here are my new orders. The GINNs and CGUEs will continue their attack on the Eternal. Radio the Gargoyle, the Juggernaut and the Eden and tell them to engage the GuAIZ squadron. As for the Freedom, have the Starscream put some pressure on it and try to draw it away from the Eternal."

"That's odd. Why would the Supreme Council want to move the three GuAIZ Experimental Firearms Type units to another location?" asked Kyle, one of the stationed officers.
"They simply want to move them to a more secure location," replied one of the three ZAFT pilots.
Kyle simply blinked. "And this facility isn't secure enough?" Frankly, he thought that a hidden mobile suit facility located in October Six would be pretty safe since October City technically focuses on the social sciences as their specialty.
Another pilot spoke up. "Don't you remember how the Freedom got stolen months ago? Poor security procedures. The experimental GuAIZ units are pretty powerful machines. I'm not saying that this facility isn't secure enough but we got these orders from ZAFT Supreme Councilman Gilbert Dullindal himself."
"Let me verify these orders." Kyle prepared to move to a communications unit until the third pilot spoke.
"You could try but Dullindal's in a meeting. And we have to get these units and their weapons to the new facility in Maius Eight by 1600 hours. We're on a bit of a tight schedule here."
Kyle thought about this for a moment before typing in a security code. Another door opened in the office, leading to where the three units were currently being stored. "Okay...you can go in and set things up for launch. I'm going to put together an escort of three GINNs and three GuAIZ units to the new facility."
"Roger that." The three pilots headed to their machines and started making their preparations. Each pilot inserted a disk into the main computer of their respective experimental units while they continued to tweak the OS. Automated machines helped attach a backpack similar to the Justice's Fatum-00 pack to each experimental GuAIZ unit.
A few moments later, the three yellow experimental GuAIZ units were in space, surrounded by three normal GuAIZ units, who took up the rear of the escort, and three GINNs at the front. One of the GINN pilots attempted to strike up some conversation with the others. "So did you hear what caused the big chemical accident at Quintilis Three?"
"Actually, I have a fairly good idea of the cause behind the big accident," replied one of the pilots of the yellow GuAIZ units. "You could say that a colleague of ours was behind the accident..."
Another GINN pilot blinked in confusion. "What do you...?" He never had time to finish his sentence as the weapons systems of the yellow GuAIZ units became activated. The two rear experimental GuAIZ suits made an about face and attacked the GuAIZ suits with their "Xiphias" rail cannons and the double beam cannons and quadruple machine guns stored in the backpack. The unit at the front drew both beam sabers out and proceeded to engage in melee combat with the GINNs.
'How the fuck did they override the weapons safety protocols?!?' The GINN pilot never got a chance to think further as his machine got sliced neatly in half before exploding. The small battle ended fairly quickly with the experimental GuAIZ units having the element of surprise.
One of the pilots chuckled to himself. "What do you know? Professor Steamhein's program worked like a charm..."
"Our mission's done. I'm sending a text message to the Predator now. Hopefully, they'll be done turning the legged ship into slag by now. In the meantime, let's find some place to hide for a bit until we get a response."
