Great Will/Tribals: Under The Ice... [Episode 141698]

by Kender

Meia was never really one for showing much in the way of any emotions, as she'd always held herself to a rather strict standard. To her, the only person she could ever truly rely on was herself, and she'd gone and done that. She had never paraded that in front of anyone else, and if nothing else, her cool and reserved attitude had made her something of an idol among her fellow girls. They saw her as the strong one, and she'd begun to emerge as a leader of her generation. Her strengths were in leading teams, such as in practice patrols, or training sessions, and not in being on the council, but everyone knew that she was a reliable person to have around, and her efforts in protecting and teaching the younger girls had some of them being rather affectionate in their regard for her.

If she had to be asked, she was reasonably certain that she would say it was the last part that had her staying there with a boy a few years younger than herself in her lap. To be honest, the fact that he was feeling so comfortable and safe in her presence, even though he was unconscious, made her feel a warmth grow in her chest...

The pale girl blinked as she realized that she was feeling something that she hadn't for a very long time. Somehow, she was getting a connection to this boy, in a way that had been absent from her life since she'd been a child. Not that she wasn't concerned about her fellow catgirls, but this was different. This was on a level where she reacted based on her emotions regarding him, instead of her head.

That scared her... a lot. Sure, he'd been 'damaged' to the point where he'd been unable to see anything remotely feline without breaking down into an animalistic mental state, but she found that on some level, she liked him. Such emotions made her very concerned, as they could be dangerous, in more ways than one.

But that didn't stop her from stroking his hair, and pulling him closer to her body while:
