The New Demon: Deception. [Episode 142431]

by Drakuzz

Hild smirked to herself as she stood outside the gates of where SHE lived. She couldn't help but whistle. Not too bad, seems she's been adding onto it since she last saw.

Some one hundred years ago or so.

Not that she actually contacted her...

After all if SHE knew that Hild had ways to find her... She would've picked everything up and ran for parts unknown.

But the woman had finally started to settle down. And Hild knew she could talk to her without the woman running off.

They needed to talk, especially since her 'friends' had attacked Ranma and Mara mercilessly.

It made her so proud. To have someone else attack your enemies while they were at their weakest... She taught them well...

But now it was time to speak to her. Make sure her plans wouldn't mess up her own work.

So without further ado, Hild pressed the doorbell.

*Ding-Dong*!

*Ding-Dong*!

*Ding-Dong*! *Ding-Dong*!

*Ding-Dong*! *Ding-Dong*! *Ding-Dong*!

Hild wasn't known for patience.

"I'm coming!" A rather familiar voice cried, with no hints of irritation whatsoever. It was her.

Hild smiled and stood where she was. She placed her finger over the peephole.

After a couple of seconds, the door opened to reveal a green-haired woman. "How may I WHAT are you doing here?!!" Setsuna asked in shock.

"We need to talk, Setsuna my sweet," Hild said as she stood on the door-stoop. "Such as to what possessed you to send out your little mini-skirted Rainbow Barbie dolls after my demons?"

Setsuna sweated nervously as she stared at the most powerful demoness she knew. "... Now isn't the best of times..."

"Well, it wasn't the best time to attack when I was around, was it?" Hild asked seriously. "Now, are you going to invite me in to talk, or are we going to argue out here on the steps?" She turned her head to look next door and shouted, "AND MAKE A SCENE IN FRONT OF THE NEIGHBORS!!!"

Setsuna winced and lowered her head in defeat. "Would you please come in?" She asked as politely as she could.

Hild calmed herself and smiled, answering in a voice-as-sweet-as-honey, "Thank you ever so much, Setsuna sweetums."

The green-haired woman grimaced and closed the door. She then walked at a rather fast pace, reaching the door to the hall just as a shorthaired blonde entered the living room. "Setsuna, who was that at the... YOU!!!" Haruka cried pointing at Hild.

Hild smiled and quipped, "Hey, if it isn't 'Earth Shake and Bake'." She waved at her.

"Why you!!! URANUS COSMIC PO..."

*POW*!

Out like a light went Haruka, courtesy of Setsuna's light rap over her skull.

"Nice touch," Hild said to the green-tressed Senshi of Time.

Setsuna glared at Hild. "I wouldn't need to do this if you stayed away. Now go to the couch and reach under the second cushion."

Hild nodded her head and did so. Sitting on the couch, she sat down on the left and reached under the middle cushion with her right hand.

She found a small box, which upon further inspection revealed to contain syringes. "Pass me the pink one," Setsuna said calmly.

Taking the pink one out, Hild handed it to Setsuna. "What are you planning?"

Setsuna explained as she injected the solution on Haruka's rump. "It's a short-term memory depressor. I can't use anything else or it'll be detected." She sighed in relief as she stood up. "She should be out for a couple of hours... and Michiru and Hotaru aren't due back for another three." The green-haired woman turned to the demoness. "Want anything to drink?"

Hild relaxed back onto the couch. "Oh, I can just conjure myself something up if I really needed to. But I'm curious... What was with the idea of putting these girls together?"

"I'd prefer if you didn't conjure anything in here, thank you very much. Demonic magic is easily traced," Setsuna said as she sat down across from Hild. "As for your question, they intend to revive the Silver Millennium in the form of Crystal Tokyo."

Hild blinked her eyes once...

Twice...

Thrice....

"But... That show SUCKED!" Hild said seriously.

Setsuna raised a viridian eyebrow at the reaction. "I seem to remember you never missed an episode."

Hild smirked. "That was in the beginning, when they had that super-sweet story-arc going with Onyx, Knight of Fear..." She then frowned visibly. "After that, it all started to become too... Romantic and mushy. I mean, Star-crossed love? HELLO! Shakespeare did a better job."

"Shakespeare lived three thousands years after the show was over," Setsuna reminded the demoness. "And you can't tell me you don't like the idea of having a group of Senshi trying to fight for Justice and Love against the Kami."

Hild smirked a little. "Okay, I liked it when it was 'cool' to watch that show. But it hasn't been the 'in thing' for Lucifer knows how long!"

Setsuna leaned back and crossed her legs elegantly. "So what really brings you here? I know you don't like spending time in Midgard."

"I'm here because I just performed a marriage ceremony in the Shrine of the Three Fates," Hild said nonchalantly, awaiting Setsuna's reaction to that one.

Setsuna blinked her eyes in disbelief. "You performed a marriage ceremony?"

Hild nodded her head. "Between Ranma, his Wife, and Mara-chan." She did say she wouldn't tell a soul, but for that the one she spoke to had to have a soul in the first place. "And Belldandy was so sweet and helpful with it too," Hild said with a bit of haughtiness.

Setsuna's eyes narrowed a little. "... Mara? The same Mara that ruined my plans to prolong the dark ages another five hundred years with her screw up?"

"Yes," Hild said seriously. "But she'll make it up helping to bring a greater Ragnarok than ever before in return!"

The green-haired woman smiled. "Tell me more."

"Put simply," Hild smirked nastily, "her husband is the Demon of Fertility and Bastard Children."

It took all of two seconds for Setsuna to understand what Hild meant. She tried to contain it, but eventually full blown-out laughter erupted from her. It was too perfect... just too perfect. When she finally managed to calm herself enough to speak she turned back to Hild, a smile still illuminating her tanned features. "Are you telling me that you were devious enough to fool Mara into screwing with the new demon everybody is talking about? And now she's going to mother the new generation of demons?"

"Exactly," Hild answered Setsuna. Left unsaid was that this would keep Mara out of her hair for a couple of centuries at the very least.

Setsuna smiled at Hild. Only the major demoness was privy to her respect and loyalty. Now that she did this for her, in return to Mara's screwing up her plans... "Have I told you lately how much I love you, mom?"

Hild smiled brightly. "You called me 'mom'!"

The older demoness lunged from the couch at her daughter.

*GLOMP*!

Setsuna found herself being suffocated between her mother's breasts.

"Mom!" The struggling Setsuna cried out in protest. Why did the major demoness always do this, anyway?

"Oh my baby called me, 'mom'!" Hild shouted out happily as she continued to hold her daughter in a death-grip of a hug.

"I always call you mom!" Setsuna cried as she tried to break free. "Now let go. I don't swing that way and you know it."

Hild smirked. "You hentai... I would NEVER think of doing my own children. I guess you hanging around in Japan is opening up your ecchi side, eh?" She teased her daughter as she let up.

Setsuna made a great show of taking a deep breath and glared at her mother. "Why did you do that, anyway? I always call you mom."

Hild smiled. "Because I haven't seen you in two-thousand years. It's just so nice to hear you say it."

Setsuna fidgeted slightly. Even if Hild didn't accuse her of anything she still felt guilty. "Sorry. I was going to give you a call, honest. But then I got my hands on that demon-banishing stone and I couldn't help myself." And she was being honest with Hild. Probably the only entity she was really honest with.

Hild smirked. "Demon-banishing stone, eh? So THAT'S what little miss odango-head was using?"

Setsuna shrugged. "After I offed that devil hunter I had to do something with it. That it was a crystal gave me the idea to use the Crystal Tokyo soap opera."

"Silver Millennium," Hild correct. She grinned and teased, "You really want to make the world into your own personal soap opera to watch at your leisure, huh?"

Setsuna blushed at the teasing. "I'm a demoness of deception, mom."

"And you like soaps because they cloud the mind?" Hild asked teasingly again.

Setsuna just smiled at that. "You have to admit the Kamis will never get any wiser to my plans. They don't watch Fox-Nifelheim."

"That Simpsons hallowing special was so sweet," Setsuna said with a nasty smirk.

Hild laughed out loud to that one. "And Simon Cowell IS on our payroll."

Setsuna laughed with her. "I'm so glad you came, mom. Fooling around with these girls' minds is fun, but I really missed you."

Hild smiled brightly. "And I missed you too, sweety." Again, Hild hugged Setsuna, albeit not as bone crushing as she would Urd.

Setsuna returned the hug all too happily. She then frowned slightly as she made a realization. "Urd is still being difficult, isn't she?" It certainly explained Hild's reaction to being called mom.

Hild nodded her head. "Very much so..." She then grinned madly. "Although thanks to Ranma... My plans to ensnare her back into the family will happen much sooner than one could think..."

Setsuna gasped at that. "You wouldn't..."

Hild's smile took quite the evil tint to it.

She would.

Setsuna looked at Hild a little nervously. "You wouldn't do that to me, would you?"

"Only if you wanted to," Hild answered seriously.

"I think I'll pass, thank you," Setsuna said in distaste. "I'm not going to spread my legs and start pumping little demons out, thank you very much. Let Urd and Mara take care of that."

"If you say so," Hild said. "But I'm sure he's more than 'up' to the task to scratch your itch if you need him."

"Mom!" Setsuna whined as she blushed, then sobered. "Mom? Now that you know what I've been up to with these girls... Do you think I should let them screw themselves over with the first true threat they find or actually go through with attacking the Kami?"

"Do whatever you feel, my sweet and intelligent daughter," Hild said. "Now that I know what you want, it doesn't really effect MY plans in the slightest... But be warned, if they DO start to get in my way... I won't be pleasant..."

"You could always blast them into oblivion, anyway. It's not like they're a true threat to demons. I made sure of that." Setsuna smirked. "Most that can happen is that the demon will be sent back to Nifelheim in a lot of pain."

"AH!" Hild said in surprise as a thought came to her. "THAT explains why we've been getting a LOT of grouchy and fried demons over-crowding the pubs as off late."

"The humiliation of actually being taken out by Silver Millennium cosplayers must've made them grouchy." Setsuna snickered.

"Damn to that," Hild agreed with her daughter.

Setsuna sighed in contentment, since she hadn't been able to kick back and relax in ages, and looked at Hild. "Screw it. What do you say we both hit the town and get ourselves some man meat? I haven't gotten any in almost a decade."

Hild smirked. "My dear depraved daughter, as much as I'd love that, I do need to get going. Not a fan of Midgard, and I got paperwork I've been putting off..."

Setsuna deflated at that. "Maybe next time?"

Hild smiled brightly. "In two months sound good?"

"I'll make preparations. You won't know what hit you," Setsuna said with a smirk.

"You remember that orgy with Khan?" Setsuna asked.

Hild smirked. "I would if you had served slightly weaker wine that night."

Setsuna laughed. "Well, you won't remember this one, either."

Hild laughed back. "Maybe we'll invite Urd along, REALLY loosen her up."

"I don't know," Setsuna said thoughtfully. "By then she should be already married and expecting, shouldn't she?" The evil smirk on Setsuna's face made Hild proud.

Hild answered, "IF all goes according to plan..."

Setsuna's eye got a glint to it. "It will." Hild knew that look. Her daughter was already thinking ways to ease her mother's plans.

Such a dutiful daughter, that Setsuna.
