Messin' With 40k: Lets do the Time Warp Again! [Episode 142975]

by PsyckoSama

Samurai Jack slowly opened his eyes and sat up holding his head. While he would never give up as long as his body held life, it did not mean he was immune to stress or sorrow, and at the moment he was overcome by the pressure of both.

He'd failed to kill that godforsaken monster, again, and Aku has cast him away, tumbling through time… again.

He noted with some amusement that at least this time he was not falling through the air in the midst of air traffic. Rather he was in a small dark room. Part of him feared that Aku over the centuries had truly mastered a version of the spell where his enemy was not just thrown in time, but into a cell in a time and place of his choosing.

Slowly he stood up and places his hand on the sword. He would just this cell open and escape! As he drew his weapon, Jack paused.

No need jumping to conclusions, he chided himself. Placing the sword back in the scabbard he felt for the knob. Feeling it, he turned it, opening the door.

Jack as greeted by the sight of a normal looking room. Stepping into it, he looked behind him. He had been in a closet and not a cell.

Near by he heard the sound of clutter and another door opened and out stepped a man in strange blue armor. As one, the pair reached for their weapons… or rather, Jack drew his sword and the stranger's arm transformed into a blaster, and dropped into defensive stances.

"Who are you," the stranger demanded, "And where am I?"

"They call Jack, and I was hoping to ask you the same question."

"Damn…" the stranger stated. "I guess Temporal Turtle must have sent you here as well."

"Temporal Turtle?" Jack asked incredulously, "I was thrown through time by Aku"

"Aku?"

Jack's jaw dropped. "You haven ever heard of Aku, The Shapeshifting Master of Darkness?"

"No…"

"The Shogun of Sorrow?"

"No…"

"The Deliverer of Darkness?"

"No…"

Jack rubbed his chin. "Strange…"

"We might be from different time periods…"

"You may be right, mister…"

"Megaman X. Friends call me X."

Jack laughed. "Yes, then very well, X. It seems that fate has chosen us to be companions. Maybe together we may succeed in what I alone have failed in thus far. Finding a way home."

X nodded. "It seems so, but I think we should figure out where we are first…"

"Yes, indeed…"
