"We realized that a long time ago," Usagi sighed. "We'd rather not have to fight, but they keep on attacking innocent people. And a lot of the people they go after are people we're friends with."
"To be a true friend, one can not allow those one cares for to be injured."
"Exactly! And my mother complains about me running off..."
"Then perhaps ye need only tell her that ye have begun training to gain health and skill."
"'Training'?"
"With all that comes to the door of innocents, do ye not practice your skills?"
Minako looked a little sheepish. "Come to think of it, we haven't really trained, strictly speaking."
"Would it not be obvious to do so? How have you succeeded until this time?"
"Dumb luck? The benefit of being such pretty girls?"
"More of the first one, I'd think," Rei sighed, rolling her eyes. "You see, we're not the best fighters around, and most of what we've got comes from our powers. Our fights have been won more because was seem to... naturally work well together."
"Ye might have the ease of connecting together that well, but ye should have some training to at least be able to handle even basic situations. Have ye not shown them anything?" Thor asked, turning to the tallest girl in the room.

"That would be a difficulty, and one which many fighters would not tend to be able to deal with. But even a little would help, perhaps in seeing which of thy strengths would work well in which fight, and to be able to dodge before strikes could land."
Usagi's eyes went all wide and pleading. "Do you mean that we'd be able to not get hit?"
"Such a promise can not be made, but such learning would allow ye to not be hit as much."
"I'll take it! After all, every little bit helps, right? And I'm tired of being all hurt when I go to bed, even if I have dodged a lot."
"Panicked jumping does not make for good dodging," the raven haired girl commented.
"You're so mean, Rei!"
"Just calling it how I see it."
Thor considered rubbing his temple as he looked over the sulking form of Usagi, and wondered if she might actually be able to turn that 'wild dodging' into something more structured. Hopefully, that would be the case, as these girls did need some help in a lot of things. They weren't totally inexperienced, given that they had already battled yoma, but they were learning things the hard way. He didn't want any of the Senshi, including his sister, to go that way, especially while he was around.
Now, he just had to figure out how to get them trained properly, while:
