Chimera rode an EM wave, then came to ground elsewhere.
Several of its transformation attacks went out, then it vanished again to reappear elsewhere and repeat the process.
"We're getting reports!" Hyuga put the phone back down as he turned to address his commander. "Atlantic coast of Europe, multiple sightings of Chimera. It appears to be showing up just long enough to attract attention then disappear to another location."
"A feint perhaps," mused Gendo.
"It's getting smarter and trying to work out tactics," mused Fuyutsuki.
"Because it can change to an EM form, we might be able to disrupt it with an EMP pulse," said Gendo, "however its speed and unpredictability make laying a trap problematic."
"It will eventually return here," pointed out Fuyutsuki.
"Agreed, this is where we'll set the trap," said Gendo.
"Meanwhile, that leaves us with an angelic Rei, a catgirl Ritsuko, a mechanical Misato, and a foxgirl Asuka," said Makoto from his position. "Not to mention whatever is happening to Maya."
"What is happening to Ibuki?" asked Gendo after spending a few moments debating himself as to whether he really wanted to know.
