Besides, it didn't matter how one looked, so long as one knew how to use it. Having a sizable chest could only take one so far if one only wiggled or blushed about it. It took some skill to set a man's jaw to the floor and leave him babbling. One could do that even without having huge breasts, like if one were going for the 'innocent' look, or the 'cute intellectual'. And she knew how to use her looks to distract men and boys even before the change.
Not even her father's seeming inability to just take in the changes were that bad, at least to her. He was not pleased by the changes in his daughters, but then, he hadn't liked it when it happened to other people. Not that he had anything against foreign born people, but he had a bit of pride his his family, its history, and his people. All these transformations were causing plenty of havoc on everything around him, from his 'precious babies', to the neighbor girls, to the peace and order of the area at large. It wasn't much, but it was annoying, none the less.
But what really was the hardest to take was what she'd turned into. Considering what had been out there, there were plenty of likely candidates for what she could have been. Just being a catgirl would have been a simple thing, as she could see herself stretching and having fun playing her little games. Or she could have been a foxgirl, as that sort of form would be expected for someone with her sort of smarts. Then again, she could have become an elf, and had that whole dignity thing going on. Heck, she could have even been a succubus like Kasumi, and would have been expected to act sultry then.
However, she was none of those. Instead, she was a genie, which brought certain connotations that she didn't like. Sure, she got magical powers, and being able to call on cold was great for keeping drinks cool, but it was the sort of legends that she'd remembered about them. One just had to remember that one story with the boy and the lamp to get her problem. She didn't mind so much being a genie, as much as the idea that someone might want to become her 'master'.
As if she'd let some guy just come in and do that with her. She already had seen the calculating looks of some of the guys who'd seen what she'd become. The simple need that she'd been feeling to get a someone special made her aware that someone might cause problems trying to ignore the facts for the fantasy. Belonging with a clueless jock like Ranma would be preferable to those kinds of leches, and he had a hot body to boot. In fact, he wouldn't be such a bad 'master', as he definitely had a hard bodied appeal, as she knew that there were reasons that girls had been after him even before the desire to get that 'special one' had come up along side the changes. To be honest, the idea of partnering up with him wouldn't be putting herself out too much....
Giving her head a hard shake, she tried not to grunt in surprise. That might give someone nearby the idea that she was confused, and she didn't want that even if she was. She could understand the desire to be with Ranma, but she wasn't about to let herself just jump that way. At least, she hoped that if it did happen, it wouldn't be because she just let herself fell into it. Then again, there were plenty of cute guys around, like that Ryoga kid, or one of the parade of cute boys that tended to make up Ranma's opponents. Okay, so most of them were not quite what she'd consider dating material, but their existence proved that she did have options.
Not that she wanted to annoy her sister with the possibility of desiring Ranma unless she was really sure. Akane had gotten a bit territorial, though whether it was simple habit, some sort of protective emotion, or an unvocalized choice of him as her 'chosen one', the middle Tendo daughter didn't know. What she was aware of was the fact that her little sister seemed to be defensive of a certain pigtailed boy. The odd part about it was that she seemed to do it much more towards guys rather than girls.
