Coupled Union - Combined Schools: Married Thoughts [Episode 147629]

by Kender

Even though she truly wanted nothing more than to openly admit that she was a married woman, Akane knew that she needed to at least talk to her husband first. It wasn't that she wanted his permission, or to tell him how things were going to go. Keeping her mouth shut at the moment meant that she'd not only find out what her father wanted, but would be able to both prevent Ranma from being surprised, and have a set up so that they would be both on the same page.

Besides, she was certain that she'd be able to be Mrs. Ranma Saotome to the world at large soon enough. Then she could enjoy being part of a couple with him, and they could do all the things that a husband and wife would normally do. Of course, she was certain that he'd have to at least move into the same room as her, but other than the blush that knowledge brought to her cheeks, she wasn't about to really complain about it. In marrying him, she'd known that would be the case, and hadn't done it.

And she'd get the benefit of having Kuno off her back, as she was pretty sure that even he couldn't be as dense and perverted as to try and take a married woman from her husband.

She just hoped that said husband was okay.

Ranma-chan didn't get disappointed in her father anymore, as she'd stopped doing so since she stopped being a little boy. That wasn't hard when her expectations were so low. As she'd started growing into a young man, she'd stopped having hope every time he came up with some sort of 'amazing plan'. Sure, she cared about her father, but she didn't respect him much.

After all, it was all his fault that her masculinity was water soluble.

And this latest scheme was a really stupid one, which actually had her angry with her father. She'd been annoying, aggravated, and bothered by her father's plans, but this one was something that she couldn't take. Nor was she about to do so.

That was why she was turning from running to jump kicking a panda in the head. "Cut that out, ya jerk!"

The black and white furred animal got up amongst the murmurs of the crowd, and then got into a ready position.

"Your move."

It responded with a swipe of its paw, which she caught.

"Well, I still say that this stupid idea of yours ain't gonna happen! Picking a fiancee for me without even checkin' if I wanted one!" the small boy turned girl snarled as she threw the animal over her shoulder. "I'm gonna go where I wanna, ya old man."

She turned away from the panda, and grabbed her pack, fully intending to walk away from her father's latest bout of stupidity. There were more pressing matters that she had to attend to, after all. For the first time in a while, she was in Tokyo, where her wife lived, and she had a chance to at least see her. It wasn't the best sort of circumstances, what with the curse and all, but she truly loved Akane, and couldn't see any reason to miss this opportunity to see her again. Her father could keep on going on about her marrying the daughter his nameless 'old friend', but she wasn't about to take on another wife, and she was too close to her bride to even consider humoring the old man. Just telling him about her marital status would make him see her reasoning, but he had agreed with Nabiki when her sister-in-law had commented that her father might not understand.

But with Akane so close, she could care less about her father's annoyances. The former 'Miss Tendo' was the only girl that she could think of being with, and had been close to her ever since they'd met. They might have yelled in the beginning, but they'd learned to handle things on their own. For the first time in her life, she'd had a girl who didn't laugh when she didn't understand things, wouldn't mock her because she didn't have money for things like lots of clothing, and treated her with such caring that she felt good just being with her. It was amazing to even have a wife, never mind one who she could talk about things that she never expected to be able to do so with the opposite sex, like the Art. Something just drew her to Akane, and she fully intended to go and see if she could meet up with her again.

And then a flat and heavy object smacked her on the back of her head, knocking her out.

Genma tossed aside the sign he'd just used as a weapon, picked up his son, and tossed the shapely girl over his shoulder after growling at the crowd to scared them off. Then he picked up their packs and started the trek to his old friend Tendo's house, while:
