Coupled Union - Combined Schools: Almost Simple Reunion.... [Episode 148172]

by Kender

"So, I'm sure that you girls are excited to meet your possible fiance for the first time," Soun told his daughters with the cheer of a much younger man.

All three of his daughters gave him simple flat looks.

"What?"

"Daddy?" Nabiki replied dryly. "You just drop a lot on us. We'd kind of prefer not to react until we have a chance to take it in."

"Ah. I see...."

"Good, because we can react just fine later."

"Okay...."

The middle Tendo daughter nodded at his answer, and glanced at her younger sister, who sent her a quick smile in return.

Kasumi nearly gave a happy one of her own, but pushed herself to turn to another thought. "Why is it so important to you that we react that much?"

"That's easy. You see, Genma and I trained under the same terrible instructor. We became like brothers," her father said, his slight depression gone now that he had perceived some interest from his girls. "If one of you would marry Ranma, you two could carry on the school of martial arts."

"But why hasn't your friend brought him to the house before?"

"Well, Genma has been taking his son on a training journey, and we planned it so that he would come at the end of it. This way, there's nothing that would distract him from making one of you his wife. And this journey was very important. In fact, they even went to China!"

"What's so great about China?" Akane grumbled under her breath, knowing that the trip had been what had kept her husband from her.

"What was that?"

"Oh, nothing!"

"Hmmm...." the Tendo patriarch murmured.

"Leggo, y'old fool!" yelled a nearby voice.

"Eh?" went Nabiki.

"We must be having some visitors at the gate," her elder sister commented.

"That must be them!" Soun declared, and charged off in the direction of the front door.

The sisters looked at each other for a moment, but didn't say anything, not that they needed to. They actually knew more about at one of their visitors than their father did, and they could easily figure out what each other were thinking. It was simple to come to a consensus without words, and when they did, they got to their feet, and headed out to join their father.

However, they could see him going back from the front gate, and heading over to stand in front of them protectively as they got to the door.

Of course, the sight of someone fighting a giant panda was enough to answer why he did that.

Akane was not pleased by the sight at all, as she had too many things going on at the moment to even entertain the idea of someone picking her family's front yard for a fighting spot. Not only was her husband, who her father wanted her to marry and didn't know that she already had, coming, but she found the fact that these two had decided to start up a fight right there to be incredibly... rude. It didn't matter that the small person was proving to be a quick fighter with the familiar style who could easily get around the bulky panda, which was truly fast itself.

As it stood, these two were causing trouble when she didn't need it. She and her sisters knew what Ranma looked like, and he certainly wasn't a panda, nor was he short with red hair. So, while this person had a similar style in hair and dress, there were too many differences for this to be simply Ranma returning to her.

And that seriously annoyed her, since she didn't want some hassle as she waited. Stepping around her father, she placed her fists on her hips, and glared at both combatants. "What in the HELL do you think that you are doing?!"

Her voice seemed to surprise the human fighter, and the small person got knocked down to the ground. But instead of breaking the subsequent hold, the martial artist seemed to look for the source of the yell. When the troublemaker did, bright blue eyes focused up at Akane's face, and:
