Dragon Avatar - Metallic Pink Avatar Ver 2.0: Meanwhile back at the batcave Juuban..... [Episode 147743]

by Demonhawk01

Luna and Artemis sat in the shade of the couch looking on at the senshi meeting currently in the process of meltdown. Both kitties sweatdropped at the scene before them.

“So it WAS YOU, MRS. HINO, who was out suspiciously early near the arcade whereupon the missing person was known to frequent in their spare time! AND carrying a large brown paper bag, no DOUBT concealing the evidence and tools of the crime!”

Luna sighed as she watched the vein on Rei’s forehead bulge and twitch at Minako’s accusation. “I say one minute before Rei snaps.”

“Not gonna take a sucker bet,” Artemis grumbled.

“SHUT UP YOU BLONDE TWIT! FOR THE LAST TIME I WAS BRINGING GROCERY’S TO MRS. NAKAMURA! SHE BROKE HER HIP LAST MONTH!”

“A likely story! It’s Collegiate my dear Edison!”

Luna shook her head while, just as she predicted, Rei leapt forward to pummel the senshi of love. “What I want to know is where she found the Sherlock Holmes outfit, Artemis?”

“Don’t look at me, I stopped snooping into her closet after finding the books ‘how to bring your man home cavewoman style’ along with a rather large club….” Artemis shivered slightly, and thanked Serenity he was able to intercept her book order of So You Want to Turn Your Cat Into a Male Stud by G. Weatherwax.

Both cats looked up as Ami and Makoto approached their position.

“I take it neither of you two have had any luck?”

Ami shook her head and sighed. “We’ve looked everywhere: the arcade, the buffet shops, ice cream parlors, even that new buffet hot spring spa that opened up last week.”

Makoto nodded. “I even checked out the new movie Usagi was so psyched to see the premiere of, ‘Grand Papillon II: The Reckoning’, in case she camped out to get first dibs on the tickets.”

Ami smiled slightly. “And the reason you sat in the theatre for all the showings had NOTHING to do with the hugely muscled actor playing Grand Papillon right?”

Makoto had the decency to blush slightly. “Right, I was seeing if Usagi would show up! It had nothing to do with the acres… and acres… and acres of taut muscle… glistening with sweat… and …”

Ami rolled her eyes as Makoto was lost in fantasy, before turning to Luna. “What about Mamoru? Maybe with his connection we could pinpoint where Usagi vanished to.”

Luna chuckled weakly. “Heh heh… actually I last saw Mamoru Tuesday…”

“Well that’s not to long ago. Maybe he…”

“…Being chased around the district by Mr. Tsukino wielding a shotgun. Apparently he thinks that Mamoru abducted Usagi…” Luna finished weakly.

“Oh. Well we need to find Usagi soon. We just barely managed to defeat the last Daimon, and those other senshi nearly got away with the Heart crystal… I don’t know what we’ll do without Sailor Moon if more of them show up. Plus there was the news last night…”

Artemis blinked; he had been watching American Idol last night. “What about the news?”

“Supposedly a meteor landed near Juuban in the early evening, but some folk say it was a spaceship. Considering the Mercury computer was able to detect a large thermal energy source lifting off a few minutes after the supposed meteor strike, I’m leaning towards the spaceship theory myself. We may be facing a new enemy along with the Daimon’s. Remember Al and Ann?” Ami responded.

Both Luna and Artemis’s faces turned grave at this news, as the four of them got up to try and break up Rei and Minako’s little brawl in order to see if they had any significant progress in the hunt for Usagi.

------------------------------------------

Professor Tomoe cackled madly as he watched his latest Daimon seed taking form. “Excellent… Those Senshi have proven to be annoying thorns in my side far too long. This should be perfect to deal with them.”

His redheaded assistant Kaolinite stepped up behind the Professor, gazing at him with adoring eyes. “What do you mean Tomoe-sama? How will this new Daimon ensure the demise of those pesky sailors?”

Tomoe stood up straight, adjusting his glasses as they reflected the lights above. “Simple, this new Daimon seed is based off a concept from my daughter’s latest book. In the story there is a creature called a Dementor that incapacitates its victims by sending out waves of despair. I have simply modified the seed to have a similar effect, but rather than despair it shall radiate pure mindnumbing terror and fear! No-one, be she senshi or human, will be able to come close enough to attack the daimon without succumbing to complete and utter terror! It’s perfect; nothing will stop us from harvesting the heart crystals and gaining the Talismans! Tomorrow the senshi will FALL! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!”

Kaolinite and the other witches in the lab blinked and then slowly they to joined in with the professor’s mad laughter, as they all pictured the Sailor Senshi rendered meek and helpless in fear! Nothing could stop them now!

----------------------

“Excuse me sir, could you tell me which way to the Hino Shrine?”

The salaryman snorted. “Damn kids, can’t you see I’m in a hurry. I have no time to deal with brats like you. Look just head down the street and you’ll find some arcade or something. The lazy bum who works there can help you, brat.”

With that he stomped away muttering about idiotic children interrupting his pressing business. The short teenage girl in a yellow jacket smiled brightly and turned skipping off, wondering how long it would be before Logan showed up.

She shook her head and hummed in a cheerful mood, missing the outraged scream of the Salaryman echoing several blocks away. “HEY! WHERE THE (%$#&$(*^#%)( IS MY PDA???!!!”

After all she had a new item that looked so cool to play with and new friends to meet. Yes Jubilee Moonsailor’s day was looking up.
