Mara instantly glared at the new arrival. "What are YOU doing here?!" She demanded with a sneer.
"Mara-chan! That is such an impolite way to greet a guest," Belldandy chastised and was ignored by the demoness, who was glaring at the new arrival. As if things weren't bad enough right now, not knowing how Ranma would react to knowing his wife was dead. Now this annoying bitch had to make an appearance!
"Why... I'm only here to deliver Urd the paperwork resulting from tonight's events," Setsuna replied with an innocent smile.
"Paperwork?" Urd asked, a sinking feeling concerning the appearance of yet another demoness in the shrine.
"Why yes!" Setsuna said and handed Urd a rather large book. "Hild-sama also wanted me to inform you about your new assistant."
Urd didn't hear Setsuna's words after being handed a rather heavy book, dismay evident on her features. "But I hate paperwork!" She whined, wondering why she was being given this in the first place. She didn't to anything!
Mara and the other goddesses ignored Urd, long used to her antics, and instead focused on the green-haired demoness. "Let me take a wild guess," the blonde demoness said in obvious distaste. "You..."
The answering smile was more than enough of an answer, but either way Setsuna rubbed it in. "You have no idea how much I had to beg for this job. After the Dark Ages... This is going to be sweet."
Mara sneered at the grinning Setsuna. "Bitch."
Setsuna frowned. "Cunt."
"Snatch!"
"Whore!"
"Easy fuck!"
"Barbie!"
"ANGEL!"
Setsuna winced at that last one, but smirked nastily as she used her trump card. "Mommy."
Now it was Mara's turn to wince. "That was low..."
Setsuna sniffed and crossed her arms over her breasts. "So was screwing up all of my hard work out just for being petty."
As the demonesses continued exchanging insults and accusations the others in the room had different reactions.
Skuld was staring at them with wide eyes; hearing insults she didn't even know existed.
A very tired Belldandy was drifting off, but at the same time she was making a mental note to speak to Skuld about using that language. Father never allowed for it.
Urd...
Urd... Was just grinning from ear to ear. She got a demoness assistant to take care of all the paperwork, which was good, and it seemed like said assistant hated Mara's guts, which was just perfect.
Everyone in the room, however, seemed to have forgotten about a certain pigtailed demon and his now deceased wife.
In Belldandy's defense, she was too tired to keep track of everything around her. In fact she was falling asleep where she sat.
As for the pigtailed demon himself, Saotome Ranma, he was staring at the pale face of the mother of his child with a hard expression on his face. His fists clenching and unclenching as he fought the grief that threatened to overtake him. His training in Hell started to take over, where he changed all of his grief and pain for anger and resentment. His aura of negative emotions started to grow so big that even in the confines of the shrine it sent a chill down all the present women's backs. Repulsion in the goddesses and desire on the demonesses.
Mara froze and her eyes opened wide in realization. What the fuck was she doing?! She needed to get to Ranma and calm him down before he did something incredibly stupid again! "Don't you dare..." She started to say just as the pigtailed demon took Kodachi in his arms and rushed out of the temple, growling like a wounded animal. "... Oh fuck..." She muttered and gave chase, knowing that Hild would find a way to blame her for anything her husband did.
Setsuna blinked her crimson eyes and turned to regard Skuld, for Urd was too busy beating her head against the wall. "Did I miss something?"
"Oh, you have no idea," the little goddess said just as an explosion was heard coming from outside.
"Why me?" Urd moaned, knowing this was going to bite her in the ass.
