"AHHHHH! It's a panda!"
He'd gone to confused quickly enough.
"He's not a boy, he's a girl?"
Then horrified had come into play.
"I'm just glad you're not a boy."
He was still male, still without a Jusenkyo curse. Yet absolutely every gesture and word of dialogue had gone EXACTLY the way he'd remembered it. His father hadn't missed a line despite not turning into a panda.
He rinsed off, but didn't soak, quickly out of the bath and not even in the same room when Akane went in to bathe.
She still came running out, grabbed the stone lantern, and yelled about "killing the pervert in the bathroom" despite being alone in there.
This was worrisome.
Everything had been fine up until entering the Tendo yard. He'd felt something at that time but had dismissed it as nervousness. Now he was able to go back over it and realize that SOMETHING had gone horribly wrong in that moment.
He was interrupted by a table slamming into his head, but frankly this was barely noticeable if you compared it to being hit by General Zod. He'd attempted to roll with THAT backhand and nearly ended up in another time zone with most of his bones broken.
Ranma considered the current dilemma. Time had shifted back into its old course somehow. He had seven months before the Great Will had descended on him. From what he had seen, he didn't even actually need to be present for things to revert to normal paths - he hadn't been in the furo but Akane had reacted to his presence anyway.
