Really, the result was inevitable.
FZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAK! chunk!
Sailor Pluto stared at where the Gates Of Time were now quiescent. As she watched, the omnipresent mists dissipated and the floor of the chamber was laid bare for the first time in millenia.
"Ohhh, so that's where that went," said Sailor Pluto, seeing a few odds and ends she'd lost over those millenia.
Of course that brought her attention back to the Gates, over which was playing a sickly yellow phrase in a language dead for ten times ten thousand years. She didn't speak it herself, but she knew what it was. Unfortunately, the tech support office was NOT going to be available.
It wasn't like the warranty hadn't run out anyway.
Sailor Pluto was left wondering what she could do about it now.
Once upon a time there had been a martial artist who travelled Japan, went to China and got cursed, and went to Nerima for a time where he had more misadventures than adventures. He would defeat his enemies by a combination of luck, talent for adaptation and learning new manuevers, and being extremely stubborn. He rarely went outside his geographic area and associating with others outside his particular focus of martial arts was even rarer.
Also once upon a time, a number of young girls turned out to be princess-warriors reincarnated from an ancient kingdom who were to fight their ancient enemy. There was a Victim Of The Week, a Monster Of The Week, and a general pattern that their foes all fell into. They defeated their foes with love, luck, and big hearts - pink crystalline ones being a favorite. They went outside Azabu Juuban but rarely interacted much outside their little circle.
Due to a few little teenie tiny problems, the martial artist and the magical girls were now guaranteed to interact. Maybe as friends, allies, adversaries, ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend, rivals, mutual fans, or whatever - but there was going to be a connection due to the events at the crux of the timestorm.
Worse, due to the attempts to get the paradoxes down and return things to pristine and pure again, the timeline had been mangled almost beyond recognition.
Which might have upset Sailor Pluto if she could have seen that:
