Unfortunately for her, neither Ash nor Ranma had ever spoken pokegirl, and her trainer's expression showed what that had resulted in.
"Oid!"
"I get the idea that you really want to do something," Ash said, rubbing the back of his head. "But I can't tell what that is."
"Noid...."
"Hey, it's not like I'm trying to misunderstand you. You don't speak a human language, after all."
"Gyn...."
He held up his hands in a placating gesture. "Don't get mad. I'm not blaming you."
For a moment, she almost turned her back on his in annoyance... but then she realized that his gestures had told her of his intent without words. Having regained her confidence in what she was doing, she pointed at the both of them.
"Us? What about us?"
This time, she twirled her finger around in a circle.
"Circle? Loop? Round...."
Her nod was more of a confirmation of the fact that he was on the right path, rather than agree with what he was saying.
"'Round'? Round, round, round.... I get a 'round', but.... Hey, 'around'?"
This time she did grunt an affirmative to what he was saying. Then she gestured at the room and herself before acting like there were a lot of things around.

"You're holding yourself?"
That made her growl under her breath, and she pointed at him and her pokeball.
"You wanted to go back into your ball?"
Her head tilted back as she looked for some sort of divine intervention as to helping her.
"Man.... I wonder if the other trainers have to go through this with their pokegirls...."
Akane's eyes snapped to gaze at him, and she made excited noises in her throat.
"What? You know something about the other trainers?"
Shaking her head, she pressed a hand to her chest.
"You? But what could you want with them? I mean, you're my pokegirl... but they have their own! You want to see the other pokegirls, don't you?"
"Gynoid!"
Ash nodded back at her as he began to understand. From his memories of this lifetime, he knew that a lot of pokegirls tended to group together, and that they could create close bonds between each other. If that was the case, he had no doubt that they would want to at least see each other. And he had to admit that the idea was appealing, since he'd see what pokegirls were there, and know what the other trainers were doing. "Well then, why don't we go see them?"
"Gy Noid!" Akane replied, looking satisfied with the outcome of the rather odd 'conversation'. Now she could go and see her sisters off, and be certain that they could talk at least one last time before they headed on their separate paths. She might see them again, but she didn't want to risk never getting the chance to say 'goodbye'.
And those sisters were:
