Half of twenty is ten. Ten is a third of thirty. So going by that reasoning... if three is a third of six, then I'm betting half of twenty would be fifteen.

Well... as a machine, you base your understanding on logic and all that crap. In this riddle, the logic isn't as clear cut and it's a matter of perception.
That's not much of a satisfactory answer but I guess I see your point. For solving the puzzle fair and square, here's your 500 DP prize.
So the combination lies in the number 15 somehow. Since we have a normal combination lock... first, let's twist the handle clockwise thrice until we get to zero. Then twist it counter-clockwise until we touch one. Then clockwise again to touch five.
Within fifteen seconds, the combination lock is released and you can now open the black box.
Let's see what type of goodies are in there other than my old man's deck.

Pegasus has released three sets, one every four months. For the record, there are rumours circulating that he may release a reprinting of Blue Eyes White Dragon (with alternate art) and he may release a Toon set. Of course, there will be a lot of card errata for the Toons but it should prove to be interesting if he does go through with it.
Hmmmm... I want to see how this second deck would perform in a duel and see what changes I need to make to have it be a viable contender in current tournament scenes.
