Nabiki nodded her head, seeing where this was going, and had already turned it to her advantage. “So you want me to spy on Ranma, and bring proof of all his little dirty secrets back to you,” she finished. This was perfect! With this arrangement, she didn’t have to worry about the two psychos that followed Ranma around interfering with Nabiki getting some shots of Ranma while in his girl form. Now she could finally get back to selling the idiotic perverts of the school her usual items instead of messing around with this small time stuff.
At least that’s what Nabiki thought until the other girl reached over to grab Nabiki’s head by the hair and toss her body to the ground before stepping on the girl’s cranium with almost enough force to crush it. “Are you implying that I can’t trust my husband?”
The girl let out a scream in both pain and fear before she was able to clamp her mouth shut. Nabiki would not let this nutcase know she was afraid. Which she wasn’t! Nobody laid a finger on Nabiki Tendo and got away with it! Soon as she thought up something good to pin on this bitch, she’d be bending over in a jail cell to service lonely cops on the graveyard shift.
“Hello?” Jane asked before rubbing her boot into the human’s cheek. “I know your stupid neck isn’t broken with all that whimpering your doing, so answer my question before I loose my patience and really hurt you.”
Nabiki tried to move to get her head in a better position, but Jane didn’t let her budge an inch. “Lept mre up,” she slurred through her squashed face.
Jane frowned and kicked the girl on the floor in her stomach without much force. “That isn’t how you beg for a favor,” she said with a frown. “Now answer my question…” Jane stopped for a moment in consideration. What could she do to this human that wouldn’t get her in trouble with her husband. It had to be something that wasn’t glaringly obvious, like a missing arm or torn out eye, but something that would make sure this human remembered her place and was nearly constantly reminded of where she belonged. “Or I’ll shatter two of your ribs.” Not very original or devious, but she doubted that any human was truly smart enough to comprehend what Jane could really do to them, so vague threats were out, as were ones involving magic.
On the floor, Nabiki moved her arms to try and cover the threatened area of her body and where Ranma’s fiancée had knocked the crap out of her. Okay stay calm girl Nabiki told herself while she tried to formulate her plan for revenge. She has the upper hand now, but none of these idiot martial artist types have the balls to do anything. Just ride through it and soon enough she’ll be kissing my ass for forgiveness.
“I’m still waiting,” Jane said and she kicked the girl a little harder in an unprotected area of her stomach. “Next one starts breaking bones.”
Nabiki screamed again and gasped for the air that Jane knocked out of her. When she had finally recovered a couple minutes later, Nabiki swallowed what was left of her pride. “Pleaph leth me up.”
“And?” Jane asked sweetly with a devilish grin. She lifted her foot off the girl’s face. “Now talk, or I’ll smash your head like a rotten egg and grind what’s left of your brain into the carpet.”
The girl on the floor reached up to wipe some of the tears rolling down her face. Nabiki tried not to think about how purple her skin would be tomorrow morning. “And I’m sorry for saying those things about Ran-your husband. H-He's the most honest person in the world, totally incapable of lying! I-I'm sorry for everything!” Considering her position at the moment, Nabiki thought it best not to go against the delusional psychopath.
“And?” Jane replied with gritted teeth, the happiness in her tone gone.
“And I’ll tell you anything you want to know,” Nabiki quickly added with a shudder as her thoughts turned towards getting another beating. “J-Just don’t hurt me.”
Jane stepped back from the girl before reaching down to yank her off the ground with frightening speed. The dragon put a smile on the face of her human façade and straitened Nabiki’s hair out, as if grooming the family dog. “Good girl. Now, about my husband."
