At that moment though, such considerations weren't in his head, as he was looking at something, or rather, someone, else that was surprising. He had seen that face plenty of times without the big glasses, and the one that he was seeing was definitely looking like Mousse's. The slender build fit in with that thought as well, and the hair was a shiny curtain of black. Even the clothing seemed to be similar... until he noticed that the waist was too small for a guy of that build.
Little things started to pop in as he began to see the how the figure was gently curved, and that the hair was actually styled. Then there was the fact that the clothing wasn't quite what the Amazon boy had worn, as the blue pants were straight cut, and the white blouse was billowy. Sure, this girl looked a hell of a lot like Mousse, but only as close as a sister would. For the boy that he'd known to turn out like that, a visit to Jusenkyo would have been necessary, and he wasn't sure how that would work out.
So, all he could do was watch the girl as she continued to walk along, knowing that this was just more proof that his old life was going to barely press onto this one. With that being the case, he knew that he wasn't going to be able to draw any comfort from those connections, as they were not really there. Still, he thought that it might be for the best, given that he could have a clean break to create the sort of future that he'd want.
"And what would I do if she really was Mousse anyway," Ash muttered under his breath, while:
