Removing outer shell armor to expedite priority systems.
PSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT! erupted blasts of what looked like steam as the armor broke apart into segments.
Professor Tomoe watched as armor fell away, leaving a boy with blue eyes and sort-of Eurasian features looking back at him. The boy wasn't naked, there was some form of tight fitting light armor still in place in red and black.
Those blue eyes regarded him briefly, then without a word, the figure turned and went back up to where the fighting had taken place.
The Professor was still figuring out what to do when the boy returned and held out an assault rifle.
Professor Tomoe gingerly took the offered weapon, not quite clear on what to do with it.
The boy nodded.
"Can't you talk?" asked the Professor. "Or do you not understand our language?"
The boy regarded him briefly, face not betraying any sign of understanding. Then the boy gestured in an unmistakable "follow me" gesture before heading up the stairs.
Up those stairs, the Professor was glad that Hotaru had fainted and was still unconscious. He was quite aware that modern morality and ethics were a recent invention, that even in the modern world such niceties were unknown in many areas and actively derided in some places.
These were criminals who were ruthless and vicious, who would have killed him and his daughter most likely. To see what was left of them caused a rising nausea in response. The person they now followed had quickly and efficiently slaughtered these individuals, cutting them down with no more effort or qualm than a farmer harvesting wheat.
Glancing around, the Professor followed the figure through the room and up towards the cleft that led towards the world outside. He wasn't sure that either the world or this "Ranma" were ready to meet each other.

The Professor watched as one after the other of the weapons left behind were looked over by the boy. In one case he picked up a large knife and plinked it with a finger, frowning when the knife snapped off.

Equipped ally with best choice among available weaponry.
Scanning for targets.
The Professor frowned as something penetrated about the way the boy moved, there had been a slight jerkiness to his movements originally, but they were almost perfectly smooth now. The boy had also left footprints earlier, and now they were barely perceptible even in the dust and gravel of the cavern.
This boy, Ranma, glanced at him. Two fingers were held up, and he pointed in the direction of the exit.
The Professor gulped, interpreting that as two more bandits lying in ambush. He fervently hoped that Hotaru remained unconscious for this.
