This time allowed her to see that something was happening at the temple that was unusual. As far as she could tell, there was some sort of happy occasion that was coming up for the Norns, what with the way that they were rushing around. The entire place was filled with more 'happy vibes' than usual, and it was a fairly happening place. She did have to wonder what it was, and by the preparations, she was rather certain that it was a party of some kind. By any account, this was going to be the sort of thing that a demon could use to her advantage. Messing up whatever celebration they would have would be fairly amusing, and could cause some enjoyable chaos. It was what her side did, and they could do it well.
However, she was going to have to be careful. The Norns were not push overs, as even the kid's inventions could be bothersome, even if she was simply checking things out. Belldandy was really a goody two shoes, and Urd would enjoy taking the opportunity to do something.
At least that one boy wasn't around at the moment. That Saotome kid was more trouble than a god sometimes, never mind a human. He'd shown skill and power greater than most mortals of his age, and he obviously hadn't gotten it from a contract with either side. But what made him bothersome was his habit of getting in the way.
Why, he'd once bounced off of her head as he raced over into the temple grounds, making her slam face down onto the sidewalk.
Then there had been the time when he'd not only caught a device that she'd tossed, but had thrown it back to her, which had allowed it to explode right in her hands.
She could recall one time when he had knocked into her, making her drop the walkman that she was going to use on a fairly unobservant Urd. He picked it up, found it to be broken, fiddled with it a bit until it had started working again, and then had been 'helpful' in putting it onto her head. She'd wound up dancing her way down the street for so long that she'd lost track of how much distance that she'd covered.
He'd even tossed her a lucky charm on the run one time, which wasn't a good thing to do to a demon.
Needless to say, she didn't exactly have a high opinion of the boy. Whatever was causing it, she didn't know, but he seemed to have the damnedest luck. Anything that she tried to get at him didn't seem to work, but he was apparently able to cause her a lot of grief, even when he didn't mean to.
Dropping to sit crosslegged on the roof that she was on, the demon rested her cheek on her palm and pouted. If she could, she would love to have just one time when she would be able to do something to that boy. Sure, he wasn't exactly intending to make so much trouble for her, but time after time, he'd managed to put her in so many bad positions that it was embarrassing.
Hopefully, he wouldn't show up for a long time, as she didn't want to see that pigtail again. He might have been cute for a human, but he was simply aggravation for her. That brat Skuld could have him for all that she cared, as they belonged together in her opinion. Both of them were nothing but trouble, and she could easily do without their antics.
With a sigh, she wondered what she should do, while:
