Scroll Saga: Nerima at it's worst best [Episode 160762]

by Master Roy

The festival was taking place over what had been an open lot three days earlier. There were things besides the large tent that was in the center of it all, some food stands, and lots of booths. The main event was the huge tent that stood in the center of the festival. The senshi, including the outers (with the exception of Pluto), were all present for this.

"I heard this was an empty lot three days ago," Rei said. Makoto nodded.

"Nerima's construction crews are infamous for being speedy, efficient and inexpensive at the same time,"

The girls separated, making sure to meet up for the show later on.

Saotome Ranma grumbled as he, currently a she, put on a form-fitting suit that was made of some unknown material. Ranma's transformation was going to be part of the show, and it was going to be shown off as a trick that would confuse everyone. He thought back to how he got into this situation...

Almost the entire NWC stared at Nabiki. "You want us to do what again?" This one was Ukyo. Nabiki rolled her eyes for the Nth time that day, explaining her plan to the lower intelligences.

"You all dress up like magicians, and give a 'Magic' show that the Citizens of Tokyo will never forget,"

"You want to make us into literal 'Circus Freaks', is that it Nabiki?" Ranma asked with a frown.

"Hey, you said it, not me. If that's how you want to think about it..." Ranma's face didn't change. His face remained a frown as he considered this. "You say we can pay off all of our debts with this, right?"

Nabiki waved her hand. "Yes, yes, all debts will be fulfilled," She said. "All those holes you guys have put in the house and dojo will finally be paid for,"

"I see," Cologne said. "Well then, you will have the cooperation of myself and my charges," She said, giving a stern look at Nabiki and Mousse. "You do what the young Tendo girl says, is that understood?" They both nodded, while shooting evil looks at Nabiki. Nabiki was unfazed by this, and proceeded. "Also, if I require any further compensation, will I be able to count on you all to show up in any further events?" With a group nod, the meeting was dismissed. Everyone except for Cologne slowly left the room. Ranma took special notice of this and as he neared the corner, he seriously considered using his Umisenken. Whatever those to were planning was sure to involve him in some way. Didn't everything? He sighed and went back to his room. The door had already shut and they would notice the door opening by itself.

Ranma growled aggressively as she looked at herself in the life-sized mirror. She posed a few times, then giggled. After which she promptly growled again. "That was a chuckle," She weakly lied to herself. "Guys don't giggle." She spent the last few minutes making sure she was okay. Her first act would be a simple one, just show off a few martial arts while trying to stay in the air as a long as possible by jumping from a set of poles that would be high up in the air. She smirked as she then realized she had a way to stay in the air forever. Her door opened and a young man poked his head in. "Uh, Saotome-San, you're up in five,"

"Okay, thanks," Ranma said. "Is that it?" She asked when the boy didn't leave. She turned around and noticed that he was out cold and bleeding through his nose. She rolled her eyes and kicked the poor boy out of the door. She turned to look at herself in the mirror again before nodding and walking out of the room, closing the door.

In section AA9, eight girls were all situated comfortably while watching the show. “I thought Panda-san was kind of funny. So who's next?" Usagi asked. Ami looked at the detailed information packet she was holding in her hands

"The next performance will be an Aerial display by a Saotome Ranko. Then her brother would come out after her, and the show will end in a Martial Arts Duel between the Wild Stallion and the Eternally Lost Boy.

"There she is right now," a Makoto pointed to the center of the tent. The girl was indeed "There" and everyone, especially the male audience noticed. She was wearing a skintight suit that went up to her neck, and her crimson hair was free of the pigtail it had been in the poster. Several Nerimians had made a double take at this. But Nabiki had been specific in saying that Ranma should try to be as feminine as possible while in that body.

"Uhh," Ranma stuttered, trying to sound ditzy. She looked around and when a young man ran over to her and started whispering something to her, she nodded several times. When he left, she giggled and nodded. "Hee hee, that's right," She said in a childish voice. "I'm here to jump around," She nodded to herself, as if making sure. Several of the males chuckled at this, while the girls rolled their eyes.

Ranma suddenly started running with a determined look on her face, before she launched straight up into the air at the poles. Several people stared as she seemingly flew straight up. Even the Nerimians had to gasp. Nabiki herself was surprised; there were several things that she had expected the girl to jump on before she made it to the top of the poles.

Ranma clung to the lowest pole before flipping upwards and onto the next one. She jumped from pole to pole, trying to flip as many times as possible. It reminded her of the gymnastics she'd seen on TV. She was supposed to do this for a good two minutes, then after getting used to the constant movement, start doing some tricks in the air. She never got to, as when she flipped off her last pole, the entire tent went dark. Several people screamed after this, and when there was no thump, or sound of her hitting the ground, there was a murmur going around the tent.. "Please remain calm. We seem to be having some technical difficulties," Nabiki’s voice rang out with a megaphone. When she tried to repeat herself, the thing wasn’t working.

Suddenly, purple smoke started rising from the ground and a blue woman rose up from within it. Ranma climbed up her pole and stared down at the woman who rose from it.

"Where the hell am I...Oh yeah," the woman muttered something about tedious work while she continued rising from the ground. That was when almost everyone in the building felt a probe in his or her minds. Ranma's eyes went wide when he realized what was going on.

Cologne narrowed her eyes, not that anyone could see it. "Mousse, Shampoo. Focus your thoughts on one thing, and only one thing," She said in her native language. It was easier to think that way, and also conveyed the importance of her message. There was little hope for the two kids; when a telepath was trying to enter your thoughts, you were supposed to fix your eyes on something simple and try to think of all the details on that one simple thing. With all of the light out, there was nothing but darkness to focus on, and that was nigh impossible for two surprised and confused teens. "I hope Son in law is all right," she thought aloud. Using her Chi senses, she left the room they were currently in to look for the source of this disturbance.
