The divine being's smile widened. "You need to learn that being female is not a curse, baka. And Kami-Sama has decided that your Judgement will be delayed until you go through this 'test'."
Dropping his chin to his chest, he let out a mushroom-puff of breath. Figures. Even He would be deciding against me.
The goddess blinked. "No one is 'deciding against' you, Mister Saotome. This is to help you and to help others through you."
Ranma lifted his head and looked directly into the goddess' eyes. Opening his mouth, he uttered the only thing he would actually say in this room.
"Do it."
Opening her eyes, Chibi-Usa looked around with a sense of wonder, joy,...
...And a healthy dose of irritation.
People wonder why I hate pink, she mused to herself. This place would cause Azusa to go into sugar shock.
And such a though would be absolutely correct. From the paint on the walls - pale rose - to the enamel on the hairbrush - lurid neon 'Pepto Bismo', - there was enough of the horrid hue to make a veritable art store worth of that single color.
And that wasn't the worst of it. Where the color pink wasn't, there was rabbits. Shilouettes, stuffed, Sanrioesque, pool toys, pendants, key-rings and accessories.
With a huff, she decided to take stock of herself.
Okay, I'm a girl. Not a lot of choice there.
I can remember being 'Ranma'. That can be a help, once I can start training myself.
She sighed. I can also remember being 'Usagi'. Poor kid; apparently, something happened that caused me to take her place. Who would have thought...
