Setsuna stared at what had appeared in place of the area. She swore every vile language she knew then. She had goofed.
Instead of 10 miles, it had been 70 miles.
The naval base and the coastline had been on the bare edge of it.
The center was much further inland.
Setsuna stared at the land that had appeared, the plants, and most especially the... -things- that were there too.
'What are those... those... those... things?!' Setsuna thought.
'I -really- goofed. There's no way -those- could be from Earth. I sent them to another frackin' planet!' she thought.
Setsuna cried. And cried. And cried. And cried. And cried.

On a distant planet, in another space/time location, a 70 mile chunk of land and some nice coastline disappeared, to be replaced with 70 miles of land and coastline from 20'th century modern Earth.
The coastline from Earth fit into place and replaced the coastline from wherever.
The land went inland and replaced what had been there, Earth replaced wherever's land, wherever appeared on Earth.
