"What?" Sailor Pluto whispered, not due to any wish to keep it silent, but because she'd become too shocked to be very vocal.
"It's really quite simple. He happened to be the sort of handsome young man who was focused on improving his skills, to the point where he wasn't really holding onto all the airs that a royal guard might usually have. It being an 'important position', and all that."
"But...."
"What?"
Pluto gave the other version of herself a wide eyed look. "'At least one'?"
"Well, I can't very well have peeked into their bedrooms. For all I know, he could have been taken to the beds of several different princesses."
"Somehow, I don't doubt that."
"I would question if he was the sort to be a 'player' myself," Setsuna murmured.
"Oh, that is certainly not him. It's just that he seems to keep on getting tangled up with the Senshi." Pluto blew out a frustrated breath. "It's almost like someone wants to see him with them so much that they force it to continue."
"Or they're just trying to get past your stubborn insistence that it not happen."
"Well that is a possible.... HEY!"
A small smile curved Setsuna's lips, but she didn't show any other reaction to Pluto's indignation. "Remember, he was connected to them, and that would certainly play a major factor in what could happen."
"So much so that he wound up having a past life that was hit on by the past live of one of the Senshi?"
"Apparently, that is the case. One of them certainly did flirt with him, but past that, I wouldn't know."
"How could you not know?"
"I'd have to peer into their private lives, and I'm not exactly thinking that it would be helpful to even simply spy on their romances, never mind manipulating them."
Pluto kept her mouth shut on that score, as she didn't want to bring the conversation onto a diverted path.
"In any case, that one is the one that I can be certain about. The others? I didn't see it, so I can't confirm or deny it."
"And now that Ranma has reincarnated in this time...."
"Which makes for an already established connection with the Senshi. Though, the simple fact that he is a preeminent fighter for his generation would have been reason enough to try and recruit him," Setsuna said, and leaned back in her chair.
"Meaning that he had more of a reason to be with them."
"It could be worse for the units."
"How?"
"There was once a corporate manager who always had a habit of trying to strip me with his eyes when we would be in the same room, and wanted to have his company get a series of 'sexually available' Setsuna units that would be both 'office ladies' and 'stress relievers' for the men in the corporation."
"That really happened?"
"I had a talk with his bosses. They weren't pleased with his behavior."
"I should hope so," Pluto grumbled.
Chuckling, Setsuna nodded, while:
