Setsuna's Fault: Final Knights? [Episode 163063]

by Gantithoren

Pluto whimpered softly. The Weapons were very Senshi like. Human, but imbued with tremendous power. Close to unimaginable for the Final Weapons. There were differences of course. The primary ones were that the Senshi were originally civilians, and the royalty of their respective planet. The Weapons were anything but. Where the Senshi were used to a life of leisure, where what they wanted was given to them, problems dealt with by a staff of servants, the Weapons were used to working for what needed to get done, be it the latest victory on the battlefield, acquiring food for the tribe, or a countermeasure to the enemies super weapon. They knew that people, often those close to you, could and, quite possibly, would die in battle. They were willing to get dirty to accomplish what they felt needed to be done.

As such, where the Senshi were concerned with looking good, the Weapons had their own concerns. The soldier wanted to be sure that any armor would be proper armor, capable of standing up to anything their foes could conceivably throw at it. The raider wanted it to be able to strike fear into the hearts of their foes, to inspire terror with its strength, but for it to be fast and mobile. The scientist insisted that it be capable of adapting to any situation it could be called upon to function in, and have its own environmental supply. With the combined input of the three soon to be Weapons, the Lunarian Guardian Armor quickly took shape. Forged by refuges from Vulcan, the Guardian Armor was nigh indestructible. Empowered via the most powerful arcane rituals the researcher knew of it was truly a marvel. Using alchemical processes, a self contained environment was created. Utilizing mercurian technomagic, it bonded to it’s wearers central nervous system, and enhanced their speed and strength, enhancing the weapon beyond their own already formidable strength and turning the armor into a second skin of sorts.

The Weapons themselves were even more awe inspiring. Each standing 7’ tall, their strength was more than a match for the superhuman strength of the Senshi. Their ribcages were fused into an impenetrable plate. The powers they were imbued with were more than enough to bring all the inner and a most of the outer Senshi to their knees. At once. As far as Pluto could tell, the only Senshi capable of standing up to the weapons in any sort of fight, Even one where numbers were as heavily in their favor as possible, was Saturn. Or maybe Neo-queen Serenity at full power. Pluto shook her head. That was unlikely to happen as Ranma had more or less convinced Hotaru that the Weapons were allies, not problems waiting to happen that needed to be locked away. Usagi was probably too soft hearted to do so anyways.

Looking back to the glyphs Setsuna began translating again. Ranma (As if he wasn't bad enough as a human martial artist) was overpowered even in comparison to the other weapons, as he was imbued with the power of:
