Echos Of The Moon: Cycle 3 - The first year and a half - [Episode 163255]

by Linnara

Tsukino Usagi started in her sleep, like she'd been shot. And rolled over. And opened her eyes.

She was fourteen years old. She held on to her covers, and wept.

**Year 1

"Awakening" her Inners as fast as possible and hitting the Dark Kingdom while they were still weak and disoriented had worked the first time she tried it, so she decided to continue with the proven, in that one instance.

Though that pesky matter of all the other Enemies that came out of the woodwork, once the Dark Generals weren't doing the mole-stomping routine...Ahh, well. She'd try to deal with that as best as she could, she supposed.

She knew how fearsome the Dark Kingdom could be, once they'd been given time to get their bearings and gather energy. Not to mention wake Mettalia completely. No, first things first. Beryl and Mettalia - well, Mettalia, certainly - would have to be dealt with.

Somehow.

Rescue Luna, go Moon, meet and awaken Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Mako-chan, and wait for Artemis and / or Venus to contact them. So far so good.

There were other matter, though. Like...

The so-called Outers.

She'd actually tried to contact Pluto once, via the Crystal, but had gotten nowhere. Well, if Pluto didn't want to talk, then she didn't, she supposed.

Well and damn. And she still had no idea of how the Pharoah 90 menace could be dealt with properly, either. Properly meaning without all the Outers gone for the foreseeable duration, till their Starseeds managed to drift back from the Tau sector. She didn't want a repeat of that if she could help it...

Well OK, there were other things she didn't want a repeat of via the Outers, but whatever, whatever.

Well, anyway, the Dark Kingdom first.

And if she could "kick-start" Endymion or Tuxedo Mask or whatever he was calling himself into helping them more earlier, so much the better...

She succeeded in most of her objectives, though she still couldn't "turn" Nephrite, which was a shame. What the heck, was he always fated to die protecting Naru?

And then...D-Point. Again.

Well, at least she seemed to have more energy left, this time around...

**Year 2

Thank you universe and everybody in it it seems, for deciding that she and her friends were to redo the same school year yet again. Ahh, well.

And now to those idiot delinquent bratty excuses for Tree-Elves, and their Tree. The Tree wasn't "parked" at the same place as last time, which meant she had to go around searching for them, all the while battling Cardians. Joy.

Though they weren't that hard to deal with, once she and her friends had managed to find their lair. She "accidentally on purpose" fed the Tree Love energy, and presto. Sane happy Tree.

Goodbye Space-Elves, don't bother us no more - she waved goodbye to the Ail and Ann Not-Really-Sibs, and put her mind to the really important business.

Like Pharoah 90. And the Nepherenia.

Not to mention the Outers. Groan.
