Alright, what to do now?
Well, there was no need to limit herself to only one option. Not yet, anyway. Usagi took the Silver Crystal - much lower in energy then it had been, but not empty yet - and closed her eyes.
The attempt to check out the Dead Moon Circus or Nephrenia in any guise was most disappointing. She could barely get a glimmer of their presence at all. Darn. If she could just slam-bang them with everything she had when Nephrenia and co were just starting out...
Note to self : Scan regularly so you can try to do so, if they ever show their hand.
About Pharoah 90 and it's minions, though - she already knew that at least one of their major bases had to be in the Mugen School complex someplace, so things should be easier. OK, here goes...
"Mist", "mist", and more "mist". Darn again. Though the very fact that she couldn't scan anyplace in the Mugen grounds even with the Crystal was a big fat hint right in itself, of course...
OK, so Mugen it was, but she knew that already. Sigh.
Now as for the Outers...
Uranus and Neptune were battling something that looked like some kind of prototype Daimon, if she wasn't mistaken. Of Pluto, there was no sign.
But...hmmmm. What was this? Some kind of thin thread, leading right to...
Another misty spot, quite a bit smaller then the one over Mugen. Hmmmm. Another Enemy base, perhaps? Interesting...
Maybe she should go check that one out, first.
The smaller "blank spot" turned out to be quite a normal looking house, if a bit on the old and big side. She hung around the road with an icecream, and watched a man with glasses and a small girl with violet eyes and a school backpack on her back come out of the door.
"Now Hotaru, don't you overextend yourself - be careful!"
"Yes, papa... I will."
Usagi stood there, then. Feeling colder and colder.
Dark vibes, Dark vibes, she could feel them now - how the hell could they be so well concealed?
What were those two, anyway?
