Setsuna's Fault - Yamato: Saved By The Present In The Future [Episode 163381]

Ranma didn't know about a lot of this stuff, but as he understood it - things were bad.

They were in space. They were in a future. They were in the first ship that some gal named Skuld had been able to displace from somewhere else to where they currently were.

"-don't get it," said one of the gals, jerking her thumb at the porthole.

"It was kind of explained to me on the fly," said Keiichi Morisato. "Just before they tried to leave me behind."

Ranma also understood that if you included him - there were five guys. There were over a hundred girls. This could be very very bad.

"So this is the future?" asked some girl, waving her hand at the same porthole the other had indicated.

"Right," said Keiichi. "Someone named 'Pluto' had manipulated things so that 'timeslip' grabbed you."

"So all of us would have died back there," said a third girl. "Deep space. No air. Even if we could avoid THAT somehow there's no air or water. This 'Pluto' tried to kill us in a particularly messy way. She'll pay for that."

Ranma glanced out the porthole, seeing the stars beyond it. Okay, maybe there wasn't a martial arts technique for surviving in space. If there was - he didn't know it. Of course, prior to this he hadn't NEEDED one.

"This is the Space Battlecruiser Yamato, a spaceship. We're in the same star system as Earth, but there isn't going to be a rescue party we can call for," said Keiichi, patting one of the walls. "The reason for this is-"
