When she was sure that she'd seen it... she checked again, and tried to overcome the desire to dismiss the sighting.
That wasn't coming from any sort of lack of evidence, but came from the fact that this creature wasn't exactly... serious looking. Hopping down a path was a karakasa, which was a parasol that had one leg where the handle was supposed to be, two arms, one eye, a nose, and a long tongue hanging out of a mouth. This wasn't exactly the most frightening or impressive creature, but it was clearly from Japanese mythology.
And if this one was around, then there were others, and that meant that this was a 'fantasy' world. Not that it was part of someone's dream reality, as it wasn't meant in that way. Rather, this was obviously a world full of monsters, non-human sentients, magic, and supernatural forces. So, not only had she sent the Senshi back in time with a bunch of people that she'd wanted them to avoid meeting, she had dropped them into a world where there were all sorts of mystical beings lurking about.
She had to really fight hard to keep herself from smacking the Time Key against her head.
Instead, she took a deep breath, and turned her attention back to looking at the time where the island had been sent, and discovered that these mythological creatures were:
