"We supposed to be in place no one live in for long time?" Shampoo asked with a thoughtful frown.
"Basically, yes. Though, you probably don't have stories like we do about that sort of thing."
"Show how much you know. 'Scary house' part of many many stories told around campfire. Since there been centuries to abandon houses, there stories of people seeking shelter from storm, and finding bad things."
"And here I thought that such stories were relatively recent developments."
The Amazon girl shook her head. "No, those sorts of stories keep lots of little children looking with concern at strange houses. Remember, not only empty houses have scary things in them."
"Too true. Still, this is not exactly being done by master storytellers."
"Then why don't we just get on with it?" Akane asked.
"In a rush to get to the action, little sister?"
"Not really, but standing around doing nothing isn't exactly fun."
"But remember, sugar," Ukyo murmured, "this is more than we usually talk to each other."
"I... didn't think of that."
"At least it is a fairly simple premise. I would hate to spend more time trying to figure out the rules than playing," Kodachi sighed.
Looking at the rich girl with a smirk, Nabiki snickered. "Somehow, I doubt that we'll have to worry that much about it."
"Well then, shall we get to it."
"Fine by me. Let's get pick pieces, and roll."
