Meiou Setsuna, AKA Sailor Pluto, awoke with a sigh on her lips.
Ahhh, well.
She remembered what had happened, and sighed, again. No more massive Reality Collapse and The End Of The Universe As They Knew It, true, but no more Timelines as she used to know them, either. All amalgamated beyond all recognition...
Whatever, whatever. She was still here and so was the universe she belonged to. Well, belonged to now, she should say...
Well, breakfast first. Then...
It was scanning time again, she supposed...
The girl danced on the sand, below the moons in the sky. Long ears waving in the wind...
Tomorrow. Tomorrow, she will go.
Her parents had consented. Even her younger brother had given his support.
And the Matriarch of her not very large nor powerful clan had simply listened and nodded and wished her well on her endeavors.
So she would go to the spaceport, tomorrow. To fly away, to the planet he had been born.
Tomorrow.
Yes.
Yes.
"...Is T'Sera still dancing?"
"Yes, father."
"...She is very good at it."
S'Shi did not mention that it was one of the few things that his sister was "very good" at. Nor that being good at such things was not necessarily considered a good thing, in general.
He was a good brother, after all.
Or he tried to be. As much as she tried to be a good sister.
"I - Do you think she would be - content - at that place, son?"
"...I do not know. I - I did not think she would pass the exams..."
His father looked - lonely, S'Shi thought. It was a strange thought.
"I thought she might. She had studied very diligently."
S'Shi scuffed his boots, then. It was such a childish habit, but -
"The - That human is gone. Lost. No ship gone in the Mettalia sector has ever returned, and - Why does she still insist on going?"
His father looked at the stars.
"Because - That is what she wants, now. She is an adult, even by the old laws, son."
But that was -
"You would never have let her take the Test, father."
"Then it was a good thing that she did not ask my permission, is it not?"
"But..."
The boy scuffled his boots some more, childishness be damned, he was still a child after all.
"Starfleet Academy. On Earth. It's so far, father..."
And then there was just the wind...
So there was a "Tsukino Usagi" equivalent, but she wasn't even born in the Solar System.
Setsuna felt like beating her head on the nearest wall. Which happened to be part of the Gate, so doing that would not have been a good idea, but -
Oh, well, at least she appeared to be headed her way, which was good, she supposed...
But...wait.
Who had "disappeared" into the what sector?
