"Shampoo really not happy about having older man as airen," said Shampoo.
"Yeah, it's kinda odd callin' someone my own age - 'mom'," said Ranma. He did it however, because it made his father twitch something awful.
"I am SO doomed," mumbled Genma.
Mao Yin wondered if it would be difficult to get this crowd to visit the comic conventions.

Genma said an expletive.
GojiRanma trudged along, sighing once as the tip of his tail was being chewed on by a vorpal bunny. A panda followed, eyeing the rabbit distrustfully. Mao Yin grumbled about how unfair it was that SHE didn't get to turn into any sort of kaiju.
"I'll kill him! How dare he steal my Shampoo?!"
"Son," said Mousse' mother. "You are in no shape to kill anyone. You go thrashing around like that and you'll pull out your sutures."
"He's THREE TIMES her age!" said Mousse.
"Shampoo isn't happy about it either," pointed out Mousse' mother, Ro Ki. "I think she found the son more attractive than the father, but sometimes fate can be a real pain."
"I've got to rescue her!" said Mousse.
"You've got to heal. She isn't welcome back in the village so long as she has that curse," pointed out Ro Ki. "Besides - after she has a kid by the man, she can always divorce him."
"Her... and THAT?!" Mousse said, then fainted.
Ro Ki shrugged to herself. At least he was being quiet.
"Something just struck the Space Needle!"
"It's a... flying turtle?!"
One young man took the cigarette out of his mouth, eyed it distrustfully, then threw it away. "That's it man. I'm switching back to my regular dealer."
Tro Bal watched in glee. A little closer. A little closer.
"AAAAAAAAAAA!" yelled the Jusenkyo Guide, trying to scare the creature away. "I no fill that one in yet!"
SPLASH!
"What Guide do to you?" demanded the Guide of the heavens.
BLURBLE! went the pool. SPLOOSH!
The former monkey rose from the pool, now towering of a size with the other kaiju. Between four and five meters in height, and looking distinctly more insectile.
"Kamacuras!" identified Tro Bal as the newest kaiju began climbing out of the valley.
Suddenly a shadow fell over Tro Bal.
"Guide think nephew not afraid of big monsters, but should be scared of something else," said the Guide.
