Hikaru Gosunkugi, in an attempt to send the dragon back to his original plane and banish Ranma, had summoned an essence fragment of Evil with a capital E, that rhymes with D that stands for disaster! Hikaru/Ares had gathered minions and begun his assault on a world teetering on the brink of World Peace! Even the Middle East conflicts had slowed in the wake of the new prosperity and mass migration out into the solar system.
Pegasus Saint Ranma had gathered his allies and responded. The fighting had been fierce and there were some mountain ranges in the Meditteranean that were considerably flatter than they had been.
During that, Minako Aino/Sailor Venus had confronted death directly - poisoned by an arrow. She had been even more desperate for love than usual, needing to feel alive.
That had led to Ranma and Minako finding comfort (among other things) in each others arms during a lull in that particular battle. Minako had eventually been healed, and everyone parted at the end of that adventure. Except Minako discovered a bun in the oven. Two buns actually. Twins - a boy and girl. She named the blond boy Hiro, the girl with the red hair - Ayako.
The twins were born and while Minako didn't care for being "one in a crowd" she could and did stop by for the occasional visit while in town. Hiro mainly stayed with his father and learned to fight among other things. Ayako would eventually become Sailor Chibi-Venus and would likely become Sailor Venus after Minako retired.
So the former Ranma looked over his new reflection in the mirror. Blond, blue eyed, roguish good looks, with the martial artist build. He was just a hair taller and slightly more muscular than he had been in his previous life, despite being fifteen years old.
One part of his heritage was from a Sailor Senshi, the other from the Pegasus Bronze Saint.
Hiro Saotome sighed and took the tram to the larger rail, then on to the factory complex operated by Cyberdyne. His only stop was to pick up a pair of wraparound blue-tint sunglasses as a disguise. All the giggling and pointing girls (apparently being the son of an international celebrity gave him a certain recognition factor) were making him uncomfortable. Besides, he realized they looked cool.
"Ah, Hiro-san," said a female tech that Hiro/Ranma realized was probably one of the independent marionettes. "You're here! Good, let me get you through security."
Hiro nodded, trying not to stare. The tech outside the complex was higher than it would have been in 2014 in a normal timeline, but inside it was centuries ahead of that. Here also was Fess - a basketball sized supercomputer who ran the entire complex as his "body."
"So, Saotome-san, have you decided what kind of model you want?" The tech, whose namebadge (useful for visitors) read Angelique, asked her companion. "We have a variety of personacom in both human and animal configurations. Not everyone is comfortable with a human-shaped personacom, you know."
Ranma/Hiro nodded. "Well, I think I'd like:"
